What is Jordan doing to ensure that no Muslim in the future will decide that the proper response to those offensive cartoons is to behead the person who shows them? Why, nothing at all, of course. But if it genuinely wanted to delink Islam and terrorism, it would be working on that, rather than on trying to mislead non-Muslims by obfuscating the fact that Islamic law prescribes death for blasphemy, and thus from the standpoint of that law, the beheading was justified...
