End of the day, the DPPs are humans afterall. They got their personal goals of impressing bosses and getting promotions and moving up the ladder.
You really think just cause they are civil servants, they will do the right thing at the expense of their career? Their bosses will fuck them upside down if they lose a case.
They will do whatever it takes to win a case regardless of whether the outcome is right or wrong
