With Khaw Boon Wan retiring from politics, who will be the next Minister for Transport? This is a poisoned chalice. The previous few Ministers have not done very well.
Big job. Car population growth, COE, ERP, crowded buses, crowded trains, incompetent CEOs of SMRT (Saw Phaik Hwa, Desmond Kuek), bike-sharing mess (Ofo, Mobike),
PMDs (setting flats on fire, killing pedestrians), causeway vehicle toll charges.
