Today, DPM Heng Swee Keat announced in Parliament that the public sector is taking the lead in the SGUnited Jobs Initiative to help workers affected by the COVID-19 situation.
Very encouraged that this process has already started. Since Monday, Jetstar Asia crew members have been working with the Singapore Food Agency as Safe Distancing Ambassadors at coffee shops across Singapore. We are also working closely with NTUC’s e2i and unions to help affected workers...
