I’m in my early 40s. I don’t get really excited by BJ as compared to when I was in my 20s.
Now it seems like I’m only excited and get erected hard and maintain the erection when the sex is something different from the usual stuff ie not on the boring bed. I can lose the erection during foreplay.
But I get erection when I wake up. It seems like mood affects a lot.
Anyone has the same experience?
Have anyone of you visited a urologist to get treatment for possible ED?
Or just a visit to the GP will do?
I’m trying maca now and it does seem to help.
I gym regularly, not obese. Good BMI.
But I’m just thinking if there’s better options.
I’ve read about viagra and Cialis, which seem to be the legit option now.
Any good advices here?

I agree on the real erection not using drugs as an aid.
Like u need to eat the pills before u can erect. No pills no erection feels kinda ....
So libido and testosterone are 2 different thingy. That’s new to me.
I always thought with libido= testosterone.

All normal to have less libido once hit 40s. Energy level already low and coupled with work stress and family stress, working on week days and running chores on weekends , how to have interest in sex?

Be careful about T pills and patches as they are last resort and do have side effects - do your research.

If you're not in good shape then you may see more benefits in exercising and eating healthy.

On the topic of testosterone, try taking zinc supplements. It definitely helps as zinc is one of those minerals that we commonly lack these days. And zinc is necessary for the synthesis of testosterone in the body. And of course, make every round count. At this age, we can't pcc like the way we did in our 20s and still expect to have a diamond cutter erection. It just doesn't work this way anymore.

Do a 'zinc testosterone' search and you may be able to connect the dots.

I do weights but I feel it’s not enough to really maintain a hard erection.
I don’t smoke nor drink too.

Try maca powder. Can buy at cold storage, add some to hot drinks. It's just maintenance, won't be back to your 20s days. Personally no harm use V or C occasionally when you need the performance and confidence. We have that advantage and tech now, why not use it if you need?

My secret is eat healthy, not necessarily atas meal, and plenty of fruits and quality rest. Plenty of exercise as well though please don't over stretch. Moderation is key.

I don't smoke and drink.

Let's continue to stay healthy and have fun!

Hi Danilov, noob on getting V/C. So we just walk into a GP and tell the doc u need prescription for them?
I’m taking maca pills on daily basis. It does help on the erection. But I hope to improve further. I did try to take the max dosage but later sore throat and flu.

I don't go to the gym. Just do sports for about 2-3 hours each session for about 2-3 times a week. Sometimes just once a week if I need to travel.

Need a lot of discipline to remain consistent, i must admit.

Having regular kakis will definitely help. Haha..

Anyone can recommend a clinic for Cialis/viagra prescription?
I went to one this morning.
Told me need to take ecg and urine test and they only have 100mg which the doc feels it’s too high for me.
What’s the 1st time checks that needs to perform by the clinic?

Doing cardio and stopped smoking helped me alot. Over training on weights can cause high blood pressure that affects the quality of erection. And eat more, your body wont signal to pro create if it sense it is starving. I like to have double beef meals before sex i can go for 4 rounds straight without resting.
Sleep more, do cardio, eat more, dont smoke, less weights dont overtrain.

I am in my mid 40s too. I don't have that good body looks but I think its the process and phase we are going through. Frankly speaking I don't see SYT makes my heart pounding nor will take a second look. Used to cheong so much during younger days and get an instant hard on very easily. Now, attention and love comes from my wife, we just spice our lives further by talking to each other frequently what are the likes, do's, don'ts and the limits. There was a period where I was dry, couldn't get an erection even being "seduced" by my missus. We started talking and open up more and now we are having regular sex.

I guess for me was the mentality. As we grow old , we have been there, done and tried so doesn't really excites me anymore. My health is not as good but still trying to eat healthy and exercise more.

- 2 meal per day, more veg less meat
- 8 hours of sleep
- jog 3 times/week
- I took Alphaviril supplement to increase my T.

i understand! im 40+now. i feel your problem too! feel so disappoint. then i quit smoking and drink less! go swimming twice a week and cycling. at home do deep squat.
and also eat heathy. Now im good, 2nd round and 3 round no problem!
