new joint opening mirage exclusive palace

hiya to all....
tis new place is call mirage.... or in chinese "sheng hua"....
its located at orchard plaza... whole of 9th floor...
the place is rdy for operation le...
there will be a total of 33 rms...
3 rms r vvip rms... n hall got 6 tables...
its also a hanging flower joint...
happy hr will be added at a later stage...
normal liquors at $428 nett...
there r different themes for different sections for diff rms...roma style,eygpt style,china style,modern style etc...
e place is grander then lv tam tdwx blah blah blah...or should i say e grandest in sg???
e joint is kwai kwai joint...gers will mostly be from prc...
opening date: 18th june 2007

as to how i know all tis...
im one of e few staffs involved in e setting up of tis new joint...

Mirage Palace has done quite abit of advertisement, apart from it's multi-million project. There's a banner(at the height-limit barricade) at the entrance of the Orchard Plaza carpark, there's one on the wall(basically the whole wall) of the 1st level lift and probably still a few located at other parts of the building. A competitor to GF but probably won't be a strong one because both KTVs cater to different customers. GF's main force are the SG & MY gals, while Mirage are the PRCs.

For SG/MY lovers, I will still stick to GF. But for PRC lovers, its another alterative to TAM, etc...

IMHO... i dont think i will go mirage.

1st paying 428 a bottle is too ex for a poor guy like me... 368 is still affordable.
2nd PRC joint like TAM must Ta Bao... no rubba rubba... sit down there like k box wats the fun?

So i guess i will skip this place... but there is another one for me also coming soon.... akan datang.... :D

428 a bottle, i hope the gal quality is really good and better than LV. If the quality can be better than Macau, then I would definately stay on shore ... :D

Of coz go GF mah, that's the place I always have my kopi on Saturday nites. Phom bpai Krung Thep tham-ngan, mai chai tiao poo ying na!!! Jing jing... Hahaha!!! Btw, I'm leaving on Sunday, so see how lah this Saturday... It's deal or no deal!
