Bro, of cos cant compare lah, however, after chionging a thai disco in singapore last weekend, the element of fun in sg and los is so drastically different, the former being crappy and the latter being a paradise.

No harm buying air tix to spend ur weekend at bkk regularly than waste ur time in sillypore. And to club in bkk is not ex compared to taiwan, sg or hongkong...(i dun wanna compare but i will lah cuz we work so hard to have quality fun in LOS afteralll lol...)

Not just the partying but also the people in general. Major withdrawal symptoms but soon u will realize that GM is not that bad (and why u find me there most of the time) there r ways to party in Singapore though it would b more expensive.

Leo @$2.10 is one of the cheapest but not the cheapest in Singapore. There r mom & pop shops outside GM around the neighborhood that sells Singha for $2.00, Leo for $1.90 and Chang for $1.80 but hard to give directions in post so just enjoy GM.

Reached Thermae around 2am was still opened but we got turned off by old geezer asking rather rudely for us to buy beer before we can look see. Fuck care him and just walked out. Took 2 cabs, actually can walk coz its just opposite the road! Reached and paid for a bottle of Bacardi and 4 mixers plus ice for Bht2,400. This allows 5 to enter so bought a cover for Bht200. Luckily the girl I knew was a member there so we got a better price.

Place was packed and happening but plz note that Insomnia plays electro dance music. No hip hop or RnB here. Managed to get a table and party was on. Some how the 3 under aged girls also managed to come in later. Dunno how they did it but who cares right? So party on 3 of us with 6 girls. However, i have some queries here with regards to BKK disco scene.

First, let mi intro myself lah. i am a seasoned pattaya campaigner. I believed i
recced(practically walk down the sois) the popular areas of patts more than a dozen times liao(be it at WS, Soi Buchau, Soi 6, Soi LK). The Discos are situated mostly in WS, some in Naklua and so on.

In pattaya, you are able to book urself in a rong raem(hotel) near WS and still roam around this popular areas on a daily basis by even walking at times(once u familarize the place lah cos its in a way connected, u wont go all out to jomtien coz the nightlife scene there is mild).

I have not been to bkk but for sure i will hit the discos scene( for a change lah), went recce more than 20 agg bars and also hit the discos around pattaya liaoo on my last trip, time to not pay BF and hunt for FL around discos in bkk.

So i was wondering, is there any location or area i can stay nearby in bkk where i can easily accessible to a series of discos / local joints( it seems IMO bkk discos and nightlife is scattered in a way across the capital, correct me if i am wrong?).

IF not, got any area i can stay nearby, basically i can walk around(dont have to take taxi, dun wan tio chop unless i go wif samsters here or wif my thai chick, of cos only dont wannna go thru the trouble and waste time and money on transport.).

Being the semi cheap charlie and strictly a beer fella in patts, i paid the most 180 bht on per bottle of my singha or leo in discos there( its ex lah i feel lah but LL suck thumb).

So hopefully senior bros of bkk can enlighten and give me some pointers on which area better to roam( i can walk and take bus lah, but dont wanna go thru trouble of take cab here and there, pay pay pay....). Of course i know bkk is more ex than patts , the most i go for beer in bkk shld be 250 bht lah(i think reasonable), paying cover charge is pointless lah i feel(but if have to leave under the BOPIAN act like in the sg nightlife, then i will juz go wif it lor lolx....)

Bro Mack, u can try stay at Asoke Suites which is across the road near the junction of Asoke & Sukhumvit. One of the bros I met stayed there, he said not bad. 5-10 minute walking distance to Soi Cowboy, Nana, Thermae, Climax, Scratch Dog (just behind) and Insomnia.

For those who wants a bit of local clubbing with good food, there is a joint called Tawandeang at klongtan. There are several branches so take note and google it. Many groups of cuties dancing without male companions. Personally found them very sociable and unpretentious. Crowd comprises non wls and fls on their day off.. Very different experience from places like insomnia, scratch dog, funky or qbar. Enjoy the food, let loose and smile. My personal tip in getting lucky.

Twd p3 n klongtan under same boss. Different atmosphere though. There are coyotes in the issan pub opposite Twd klongtan but girls ain't that fantastic there imo. All 3 places are not pick up joint like scratchdog or insomnia. Great local crowd n good food which might suit some who want to get away from joints infested.

Chrestor, Niacin etc... dunno if u bros believe me or not... I had high cholesterol for many years but was "manageable" and cardiologist said "up to me" if I wanted to take drugs to manage it. So I started on statins for a year before I moved to Bangkok. Didn't take regularly coz it can affect your liver plus I drink a lot. So I stopped taking statins during my 2 years in Bangkok.

I did a blood test about a month after I was posted back and when the results came back my cholesterol was normal! GP also didn't believe my results so did follow up with cardiologist. Unfortunately it was back to bad levels. 2nd test was almost 4 months after my return.

if the 1st test results r correct then I could only think that my diet in Bangkok could have affected my cholesterol levels. My GF stayed with me for 2 years and she ate lots of veg, raw & cooked, and little oily or deep friend foods. Me being rubbish bin ate what she bought or cooked :D

I would recommend BASH. More upscale crowd and sofas available if you buy bottle. Usually the crowds start getting in after 2:00am. So 12 to 2 you can be pretty much on your own in there.

I prefer FL from thermal, well sometimes Gem can be found there.
A few of them I'm still contacting till now. Depends on your budget bro, visiting AGG LD and tips not counted in yet, as for Thermal still cheaper.( On drinks and tips wise,though LT and ST might be the same pricing)

Cnx here, max I paid was 1.6k bht after finished clubbing about 2.30am till about 8am, just nice to grab a breakfast. :eek:

1 double black, which brought in from club,(opened at the ktv itself) and order another 1 more black, which shows that the girls really can drink.

Total 6 of us, 2 of my friends, got two girls each, and the rest concentrate on one girl, as they doesn't butterfly at all, the only time they go out, is when they go for a toilet break.

Compare G clubs and KTVs, I prefer ktv anytime, cheaper and wilder girls. Girls at KTVs here, all age are from 18 to 22 max. :p

I believe there're a few more medium size KTVs in Bangkok that can do takeaway for hostesses.

Many people also forget that the Japanese KTVs all over Bangkok can do takeway for hostesses.
Most Japs just only like to chat and drink with hostesses.
Hopefully I'll update some in 2013. :D

G-Clubs = Good to see but cannot eat (maybe possible only with long term investment). Expensive.
KTVs = Quite good to see but can eat (pay and go). Inexpensive.
