Let me eleborate. I have three cousins (1 male and 2 female) whom are in the uniform services now serving the nation not because they wish to but because they kinda have to. Mind you, they are very happy with where they are now. It just that to achieve their dreams to live on "easy street" they have to serve the nation. You see, all of the above cousins are scholars. The male is on Singapore Police Force Scholarship(SPF) while the other two are with the Singapore Government Scholarships (SGS). They are send overseas and returned with a very bright future via the uniform services.

My two female cousins aint tomboy nor do they have 'butch' qualities. They are females with female perspectives. Consequently, not all who join the forces have tom-boyish tendencies.
