不過，案件今早出現轉折，3被告在控狀修改成非禮罪後，承認罪行。
3名被告被指抑制女郎並非禮她，伍泰申與孔丹壇也面對多一項用手指非禮女郎私處的控狀。
案情顯示，3名被告與另外5名朋友來新參加音樂節，並住在卡爾登酒店3間客房。3名被告案與朋 友理查於當天 午夜，在夜店狂歡時，認識從馬來西亞來的23歲女郎。
女郎過後與理查看對眼，先回酒店發生一夜情，進行好幾次性交。她過後因喝酒及舟車勞累，在酒店 房裡睡著。
3被告知道理查房裡有人，因此到另一間酒店房裡聊天。
理查後來在凌晨4時05分離開房間，並讓孔丹壇與女郎性交。理查之後走到另一間客房，對朋友說 ：“你們應該 與她（女郎）上床。”而伍泰申在孔丹壇“完事”後，在凌晨4時27分進入客房與女郎性交。
利麥克爾後來在凌晨4時51分，與女郎性交。但女郎在過程中醒來，回頭看見利麥克爾時嚇壞，並 將利麥克爾推 開，說自己不會答應與這麼醜的利麥克發生關係。
女郎知道自己被霸王硬上鉤，在早上6時半坐友人車子離開，並在當天下午報警。
求法官輕判
被告以5000新元（約1萬5500令吉）補償道歉，希望女郎原諒自己。
代表律師替被告孔丹壇求情時說，他為自己的罪行感到非常後悔，並寫下求情信道歉。
信中表示，他無意給女郎造成任何傷害和壓力，為表示至深的歉意，他願給5000元當作補償。
代表律師也說，女郎已接受補償。
律師代孔丹壇求情時也說，他是個疼愛女兒的好爸爸，加上女兒有眼疾，求法官輕判。
律師說，孔丹壇有一名年幼的女兒，家人原本今早要從英國飛到新加坡出庭，但最終還是趕不上。
另一被告伍泰申的代表律師則說，他來自一個非常貧窮的家庭，父母因這起案件大受打擊，身體狀況 大大衰弱。
他的妻子也和他鬧翻，不允許他和家人再接近她和幼子，希望法官輕判。
被告利麥克爾的代表律師則表示，當女郎驚醒質問他時，他立刻停止犯案，如今已知錯。
