amazon down, is amazon down, amazon down message, amazon website broken

This error message is appearing for some users on Amazon.com.

Amazon.com’s home page is down for some users Wednesday. The issues appear to have started about 3:30 p.m. Eastern, with an error message appearing for those who are affected.

Amazon has not yet commented about the outage or posted a message about the issue on social media.

Users who are affected by the site issues are directed to an error message page saying, “Sorry something went wrong on our end. Please go back and try again or go to Amazon’s home page.”

The message also includes a picture of a dog and directs users to the “Dogs of Amazon” page, which is working. The dogs page profiles furry friends of Amazon workers who bring their pets to the office with them, like Hunter, seen in the above error message, a 2-year-old Australian Labradoodle who loves attention and any toys that crinkle or squeak.

The outage does not appear to be worldwide, with large areas where the site is down in the northeast United States, along with the southwest, northwest and Great Lakes regions, according to Down Detector’s map.

By 4 p.m., some users, including in the Northeast, began to see website working again, albeit a bit slower than normal. But outages remained.

Affected users reported the issues on the Down Detector website.

“Dogs in NJ,” one wrote. “Dogs in Milwaukee,” said another. “I want to meet the dogs of Amazon. I want to give canoli a canoli…But I cant give canoli a canoli because I can’t search canoli’s on amazon so that canoli can enjoy the canoli I gave to canoli,” wrote a third.
