Went to Long Jie with my buddy on 8 Jan 08. Took the 8.45am ferry and reached the ship around 10.15am.

I played the computer roulette... no luck, lost about 200 bucks. Switched to play on the $5 roulette table. Changed 1k with the rolling gal. Well, played for a while..... Not much luck either, by the time we went for lunch, i already lost 1.5k !

During lunch, i asked my buddy for 1k loan. So after lunch, i continued playing on different table, also $5. I think it's true sometime we depend on other's person luck, that 1k loan from my buddy really turned the table around. I was on winning streaks....... by 3pm I recovered back my lost amount plus won an additional 2k.:)

I have been to Leisure World most of the time, joined as member since Sept 07. Occasionally, i also go to Royale Star aka lucky Star and Long Jie aka OMAR. As what reflected by one brother here, mostly uncles and aunties goes to Leisure World. It's packed most of the time and all like to rush to exit first either to ship to gamble or transfer at NONGSA to secure a good seat back to Spore, ignoring the safety aspects of the ferry requirement.

Recently, I switched to Long Jie caused no luck at Leisure World, although i hate the long journey there. I think the worse is going to Royale Star, waste lots of time cruising into the river leading to Sabana Cove resort in Malaysia. Compare the interior of these 3 ships, i think Long Jie look more grand !

I just want to highlight some points here although i think some brothers here already provide very useful info to newbies to the ship. Confirm Long Jie don't operate from TMFT, only to and fro HF. Whereas, Royale Star and Leisure World operate both from TMFT and HF. Just go to their counters and pick up the ferry timing schedules and you are ready to cheong liao ......

Read about some special services on those ship from those brothers who went for their massage service....must check it out on my next trip .. :D provided win lah !

Just an observation. Leisure world has the most number of clients due to a number of factors.

1. Malaysians are a big part of their clients, not just Singaporeans. But still Singaporeans are their biggest clients in terms of numbers and also betting. However, our malaysian counterparts are also very hiong when it comes to gaming.

2. Does not return to Singapore often, hence more crowded, ie, Malaysians do not need to depart from the ship.


Royale Star.

1. Malaysians are also a big part of their clients. In fact, I think Royale Star depends more on Malaysians than Singaporeans for the simple reason, check the number of players on a weekday afternoon and you can see who has a more malaysian to singaporean ratio.

2. Royale Star has a better location to pick up clients. They pick up clients from Eden instead of Pasir Gudung.

Long Jie.

1. Best runned among all three ships at the moment. However, I think they need to get from TMFT also. It seems that TMFT attracts a lot of East Side singaporeans.

I felt bored on Thu. So, I decided to go Royale Star. Actually, it was my first time to this ship. Departed at Tanah Merah Terminal, with ferry ticket of $20 & took about 2 hrs to reach Royale star. People who know me know that I like to play Baccarat, this ship only have a few tables.

Quite small ship compare with Long Jie. Two table to play ringgit. And the rest is Singapore dollar. I was ex-member for lucky Star so I able to rebated the $20. And they told me once member every time go free leh. Hehehe

At first lose $600, but managed to win back and win more $280. And go back happily.:p

Went to Long Jie on Mon 2 Jun 08, due to the increase in fuel charges, have to pay $60 now wef 1 Jun 08. No change at the counter, gave $250 for exchange of $300 gambling chips.

One shortcoming of Long Jie is they dont have credit cards facilities on board, only Nets available. And you know, you only can withdraw a maximum of 2k per day. So i did not managed to recover my loss yesterday due to the fact that i have used up my entitlement.

I took the 10.30am ferry and reached there about 12.30pm, just nice for lunch. The place was quite packed yesterday.I only played the Roulette, no other games. I noticed the Roulette numbers slots is much deeper from other ship, so once the ball get into it, there is no way for it to bound off. Maybe those brudders who play this game can confirm my observation.

Now, just to update all the "chiong" brudders here, i went to patronize their SPA some time back. I picked the water jets treatment which was $70 and serviced by a PRC. She was fully clothes with a piece of plastic sheet hanged over her neck to prevent her from getting wet. I was in birthday suit .... so during the treatment process, she kept teasing my manhood, so the special Q pop up. I was told if i want to enjoy the full package, i will have to buy another session which cost another $70. As for her service, she asked for $200. Went to the reception counter to collect my room key, and headed straight to my room for shower. The bath room is kind of small, just nice for one person to stand inside and shower. Not too bad at least RS provide the necessary toiletries compared to L J.

After that went to the restaurant for dinner, here the management engaged 2 to 3 singers to entertain the diners before the ship set sail at around 9 pm. One of the singer, by the name of Kwok Hsien Hua, previously from Re diffusion, really know how to entertain the aunties with his international songs... Malay, hokkien, teochew, Cantonese, chinese, japanese, hainanese, plus able to impersonate liu san jie voice !

Ok... by then 10pm, the tables were fully operational. I went to the $5 roulette table. Got the rolling gal to open an account with 1k. Managed to roll passed 20k, so the room was FOC! However, my cash power was declining, by 4.30am my capitol sum of 7.5k were gone!!!

Went to the Nets counter to withdraw 1k, could not get through the line. Was told to come back later to try again. So, went to the Gents to relieve and freshen up. Tried the nets again, this time got through, but deduct 5% service charge, so left $950 to play.

I could not believe when i went back to the table again, my favorite no 14 have yet to open. I hit no 22 when i rejoined the table, so it was a good start. Then my favorite no 14 opened .... oh my, collected nearly 3k. From my record no. 14 only open after another 20 spins. However, i was on winning streaks .... in between the 20 spins before hitting another round of no. 14 !

My rolling commission was $238 for the first part of the game when i run out of cash, so had to close it in order to collect the cash to play. The $200 was gone within a few minutes. Second part of the game started with $900 and i managed to recoup back all in all 12K with $168 rolling commission, which is pegged on .7% per 1k. So minus off 7.5k initial capitol plus Nets 1k total 8.5k. So 12k minus 8.5k = 3.5k

Think of it .... quite scary right ? Just imagine what you can do with 7.5k ! But when you are on the table....... u dont think of that ! :D

Yes, Longjie arrive HBF at 8am friday morning and sail off at 9.45am.
Leisure world have slightly more entertainment, they have shows at certain intervals (magic and singing etc).
Longjie also have singing shows at their niteclub but not so popular.
So entertainment is very limited. The main attraction is casino.

For gambling, I prefer longjie because it is not so crowded as compared to leisure world.

For those who love karaoke, then Longjie should be the choice because they have very nice and cheap karaoke rooms at $5 per hour.

Dont envy me, seriously ! I mean there is no way i am going to make that kind of money every time i go on board the gambling ships. Sometimes i win some, sometimes i lose some.

Its also depend on your stakes, strategy and certain amount of luck that make your day !;) Frankly speaking, you must have spare cash to recover back your initial capital in case you lost the first battle.

That why i bring along one credit card and my personal ATM card to launch the second battle. Base on my experience, most of the time, i recover back the initial capitol plus win some. As a member of Leisure World, i make use of the house rolling which earn me 1% for every 1k i roll. The highest i roll so far was 79k which i collected $790 for commission alone.

I not so keen to go Royale Star and Long Jie because of their 2 hours journey,especially R S, the ferry have to slow down because of 3 kelongs up the stream to Sabana Clove, where we change to another ferry to get to the R S ship. The one and only good thing about taking ferry at Harbor Front is the cheaper parking rate compare to TMFT car park. Off late, i noticed that the public car park next to Seah Im Food center is packed most of the time, have to circle round a few times before finding one parking lot.

However, Leisure World ferry timing frequency is still better than the other 2 ships, almost every hour one ferry. And it take about 1.5 hours from TMFT to LW. One setback is the ferry is mostly packed with uncles and aunties whom seem to be very free and loaded with $$$$$$

From what i observed, i think L W has the most Tai Sai tables, unless any brudders here violently object. :D

Junkets are those agents who help you to secure ferry tickets, in return you are oblige to roll under them. From what i understand, they earn 1 or 2 % commission on top of what they offer you, when they exchange cash chips with the cashiers of the gambling ships.

There are many groups of them operating in all the 3 gambling ships. If you head down to Singapore Cruise Centre at harbor front, you can see many of them hanging around the ticketing counters.

Paid $38 tax plus $80 cabin to the counter and boarded the ship at Habourfront. Went to the restaurant for dinner, packed! and got some singers entertaining. Anyway no seats so went outside at the deck for a table. Food was so so not much variety.

After dinner, got my keys and proceed to cabin. Quite ok, cleaner than LW with tv and cable channels. Had a bath and rested for awhile, then proceed to casino for some action.

Casino was smokey and slightly run down. Few tables of Baccarat, Blackjack and Roulette. Gave me the feeling of those Batam casinos. Changed some chips and started gaming.After few hours of gaming, luck not so good lose some dollars. decided to call it a day and proceed back to cabin to rest and wait for return timing.

Overall, felt that this one not as good as LW. Only thing better was the cabin cleaniness and with tv. For gaming, still prefers LW as more variety and better casino "feel".

To get free cabin, you just need to roll $1k.

Went to L W yesterday afternoon on 1 pm ferry and return on 5 pm ferry. Played the $5 roulette tables. Lost 2k because my favorite no. 14 never open at all ! :mad:

there are junkards on all 3 ships, booking thru them is more convenient, just sms or call them and they will book the ferry on behalf of u.

I also paid for the SPT $38 when i went for the CNW last Tuesday, but i paid only $50 for my room, which i got it refunded after i rolled $20k that night.:D

Banker must have at least 17 points or above and must stand after that.
Player can stand on 12 points or above.
Banker with ace face player can buy insurance one pays two
Blackjack pays one and a half times your bet.
9/10/11 points can double your bet but only get one more card.
Same number cards can split to two bets.

Just came back from L W this morning 1st ferry out from the ship, gamble overnight.:D

Paid $12 for the last ferry out from TMFT.( For info, Sun to Thurs last ferry on cost $12 SPT) and $30 for a standard cabin( Non member $40).

Bought $1K rolling chips from house rolling counter. Not so lucky last night, lost the initial capital $1K plus additional $100 chip for rebate of $10. So actually the SPT only cost $2

By 4am, lost another $4K. Credit out another $2k for the final battle ! Not much time left till the first ferry at 6.15am.

By 5.30am, managed to recover back $4K, so went to closed my rolling account. Rolling commission was $473. ( total rolled $47.3K)

Went back to my cabin, washed up and check out at the reception counter.

Just nice to board the first ferry out... :D

Since you are rolling, you do not have to paid the cabin fee. You can get a room with the rolling. It is cheaper.
