现在受害者已长大成人，并在一个农场工作。性侵案件曝光后，虽然自己的名字没公开，但同事猜到他就是受害人 ，经常以他作笑柄，还给他打电话假装牛叫，令他犹如再度受伤害，:D 他最后更因此辞职，至今仍失业。受害人的妻子表示，童年的经历还影响了丈夫与儿子的关系。受害 者在信中说： “我不喜欢拥抱我的儿子，我也不能跟他说‘我爱你’，布鲁克斯毁了我一生！”
