哈哈哈,今天的狮城有约,语不惊人死不休,原来人老了，低收入的老人都称为"下流老人"。下流根据汉语词典 ,是指不知羞耻,低级下流, 通常是贬义的意思。
当然今天的狮城有约 话题"下流老人"是指低收入者,在下流边缘生存的年长者, 不是指言谈举止下流,但是不能想出更好听的名字吗？。
Translation:
(Ha ha ha, today during the evening Chinese news on channel 8, the mainstream media used a derogatory terms to describe elderly Singaporeans who were low income. They used the term "despicable scum old people" to describe low income elderly in Singapore.
When the Chinese news used such a term to describe our low income elderly are they saying these elderly are uncouth and are despicable? Can't they use a better term to describe old people who have low income in Singapore? what a disgrace)
