My gf really detest those hotels in geylang and joo chiat....She complained abt those dirty glances she got at the check-in counter,it made she felt like a PRC prositute...Though i know she hate those small budget hotels but i can't afford to go those 4 or 5 stars hotel every week. Thus i wonder if there any motel in sg,where i can just drive in and do the check in.

Bro, there are many small hotels with budget pricing all ard SG other than GL and JC. Look at the street Directory, look under hotel category. U be surprise that there are some hotels hiding at veri unsuspected area. For example camerron hotel in the east, or Pasir panjang inn (404) in the west(this one somemore got undergrd carpark). Take some effort browsing through.

Cheers.

Check out the so called "boarding house" directly opposite Bedok Simpang PO. Clean and economical:D . If you drive, park at the carpark adjacent to the Post office. Carpark rates start at 0.50/per hr:p

try this place. Boon Wah hotel at upper weld road, location is near central so not too far off. but it is really not on main road so quite secluded. budget hotels are similar, but this place is quiet n you wont get the stares etc... or afraid of being caught in GL. my ex used to worry about being mistaken as a WL when we go GL hotels, once only and no more. then i keep going this place.

i think hotel 81 bencoolen has a underground carpark with lift which goes up to the rooms..or Amber Hotel at Marine Parade very run down but quite secluded in the sense you don't get pple hanging around and the best part is stair case to rooms are outside the reception lobby..dun have to go thru to lobby..another one that i had tried before is Chancellor Hotel dun know whether now got change name or not, it is along Joo Chiat Road..this one you can actually enter the hotel from the back alley where there are no one and go up by stairs to the room..
