It will interestingly to see how the citizens of the UK redefine their vision and shape their future. This was a referendum and not another election. The Tories led UK entry into the EU in 1973. The labour held a referendum in 1975 and people agreed to remain within the Eu by an overwhelming 67%. 43 years later, the people again decided.
What to watch out for in UK for the next 5 years
- How UK will define its foreign policy
- How UK will participate in an economic EU common market
- How the UK economy will fare especially its financial sector which is the largest in the World
- How their businessmen will fare now that their cheap supply of labour will now come with constraints
Others to watch for
- How will Germany and France fare as the defacto leaders of the EU.
