I am not sure whether I am in a right position to ask this, butI just need some advice from all the bro's here.


What can I do to control a person from not looking for any hookers as I find he is uncontrollable which it seems like he is addicted to it. As he has no sex encounter before at all.

I wish to advice him that it is not an healthy lifestyle at all, I understand we are men and sometimes we have the urge.but there are many other ways that we could release our sex urges.

Please I am really seeking help here as this friend of mine is new to all this and he does not know what is right or wrong and good or bad.

Would appreciate all the bro's here to give me honest advicce.

Seek psychiatrist help or go for some counselling before its too late
Dont follow my foot step. By the time i realise I got Sex Addiction (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), its already too late.

Looking for hookers is only beginning
Then start watching porn
Then start pcc on regular basis
Then start fantasizing
Then start looking for people to fulfill the fantasy
Then act out the fantasy
Then regret, feel ashame.
Then slowly the urge intensify as months and years go by
Start to touch ladies inappropriately on public transport (molest)
Then become bolder if not caught
May start to take upskirt or peep (Happens to myself)
And you could even escalate until outrage of modesty (hit & run) for some sex addicts or worst case scenario 'RAPE'

The above sequence of events may sound familiar to some bros who encounter this and is undergoing support group treatment at IMH. ;)
There are men and women sex addicts in SG but its a closed support group referred by the psychiatrist. Weekly meetup to do therapy and treatment.
