When an MP becomes the Speaker, she should stop be party work. Otherwise, there will be a perception of bias in her new role.
Why the hell is the Speaker involved in politicking for the PAP?
She should resign.
Another bastardization of the Westminister Parliamentary system to have the Speaker actively doing the work of the party!
