PEASANTPORE: Nationalised Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) has signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Burmese Sex Power Enterprise (MEPE) to supply 225 megawatts of power over 22 years.
The purchase agreement comes under Myanmar’s Ministry of Electric Power (MOEP) of the build-own-transfer arrangement for the project. Uncle Sam is concerned that the Commies PRCs have too much hold over the Burmese Junta yet want to sarpok the new Jane Austen inspired Burma Imperial Court. Vassal Peasantpore obeys her Hegemon Ruler signs up but gets a paper commitment of MEPE’s payment obligations.
