An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
If she had done regular, preventive maintenance instead of channelling resources into the advertising space and paying out fat salaries and dividends, we won't need to be on such a tight maintenance schedule today, fixing things on the go and having our trainees work on the tracks even when the trains are running by at full speed. We would be able to space out the maintenance workload rather than cramming it all.
Let's be honest. This episode is just one of the many tragic fallouts from that rot which began years ago.
