This forum has got pretty bad and while there are still some good contributors, they are increasingly outnumbered by people with agendas and their clones.

I got zapped twice by an anonymous guy for voicing the opinion that Euros, while great to have, would be difficult to bring into Singapore.

Fact is this forum is losing viewer - simple googlefu will show a drop of 50-70% in traffic in the last year. Why waste time posting to get zapped?

I'm not boss Sam, but I do make an appeal as a forum that identifies good chicks and gets business for them is valuable to cheongsters. Without business, good chicks go back. When glowing reports get written on bad chicks, punters take their business elsewhere.

Anyway, this is my little vent. Hope things get better, it'd be a shame if they don't. I miss the old sharing, but then again I have other alternatives and won't shed tears for the current forum.

The reputation up and zap system is a failure. It has lost its original purpose, instead of upping good info, field report & good opinion, the system is abuse by members who create tons of clones to mass zap others or self upp for personal agenda.

Look at the number of account created, within a month of creation, the reputation point shot up few hundred point without any contribution. Bulk of the high reputation members achieve their rep pt thru exchanging point instead of positive contribution.

Yep, if I was only interested in points I'd never post on GL150, and only post on the points exchange and photo sharing sections.

I have a post on the exchange link to see if any bros will up me enough to get back my points from the silly fucker that anonymously zapped me twice for no reason. A test experiment, and so far thanks to one bro, I am up but let's see (bro K**** will up you if I have any points tomorrow!!!!).

Fact is though, in some ways I'm grateful for the smelly, slimy, hidden cunt that zapped me. I am getting a chance to find new and creative ways to call him a cunt and have so far polished off a bit over half a bottle of sweet Barolo while taping out the insults. I don't generally pick on people, but when its deserved its fun :D

Like what i have been advocating too.....its time to do away with zapping. Only reward with points so its a fairer system. Unless you up your own clone. Too many are innocently zapped for contributing to the benefit of others here. Hope the boss take some action or introduce some great measures or ideas to stop all the problems.

In all honesty, points do matter. For a start, you do need to have positive points to be able to post freely. Once in negative, there are restrictions like moderating of posts or limited pm inbox space. Unfortunately because this point system has ruled over sbf like forever, it has shaped the dynamics of this forum. :(

To the OKTs and their clones, look at the site traffic. Remember Sim Lim and Jover. If your business is based on deceiving customers don't be surprised if after a while all you mostly have empty rooms and the rare carrot head.

Unless there is a change in this site and its reliability (which I don't expect) I don't imagine I will stick around. I'll go with OKTs I trust and swap them if they are not reliable.

For the OKTs killing this forum, I hope you will see some sense. Without a reliable source of information the pool of punters shrinks and it shrinks by a lot because all you get are drop-ins not regulars. If GL gets too shit or too much of a dice roll, my backup plan isthe FL route. Better this than read the fairy tales that make up half of this forum.

So Boss Sam, hope you can fix this forum. More than half your traffic has gone in the last year, and half of those that remain are agenda idiots and their clones. Mathematically, using these rough estimates your real cheongster traffic is down 75%.

One thing you really should do is clean out clone activity in my opinion. Run your clone script and remove all clones leaving each user with their one original account and deleting/banning the fake/duplicate ones.

I'm not sure about other sections of the forum, but one of the reasons why many of us don't participate in the geylang forum is that it's become obvious that some forummers have been using clone accounts to ZAP or cyber bully others into submission - often even resorting to online harassment and other cyber crimes. The other problem is using clone accounts to post fake FRs to inflate the business of a particular house or girl in geylang, and then using these clones to launch attacks on those who question the obviously promotional FRs.

This greatly defeats the purpose of the forum, which is to exchange honest views aimed at giving brothers here a better and happier experience in geylang. Or at least that's what I thought it was, i could be completely wrong.

Anyway, whatever you decide to do, I and many others not likely to return as a regular contributor here. Just bored today and decided to chip in my 0.5 cents, but my opinion not even worth half a cent anyway, so don't worry.

So please continue doing what you like. I'm more than happy to watch this forum waste away, as long as geylang is able to continue bringing in nice lovely girls for us guys in real life with or without this forum which has become a wasteland :)

I was a lurker before I decided to register and share FR. I got zapped many times for no reason, now points running low, hence stop contributing.

Most bro usually stick to favourite house due to various reasons like location, friends with OKT, clean rooms, lazy to hunt etc.
FR is subjective but nevertheless its a source of info. Zapping is discouraging.

I believe genuine members don't zap. Only those with vested interest will, as they have no case to start a discussion and only wants to zap.

So eg if samster A signed up in 2006 with one profile but created some 100 clones after that, those 100 clones will be wiped out by the clone script hopefully and leave samster A with just one account. I mean you reported you could wipe out clones as per below, so why not do it for the betterment of the forum?

I've been working on the "clone detection" script over the past few weeks and gave it a test run yesterday.

It wiped out about 50 clones in 5 minutes and caught a few big fish in the net too. :D

I'll start on the upgrading of the "anonymous profanities" script once I've finished with my clone catching tools.

I have been receiving complaints about the forum since its inception. There have always been crooked OKTs and hidden agendas here. It's part and parcel of human nature.

But people forget that this forum has never been just about advertising whore services. In fact I tried to keep freelancers out for more than 3 years.

This forum is about everything sexual and it here that people are free to express their innermost desires and perversions and seek opinions regarding their sexuality and their relationships.

The most popular sections have always been the pix exchange and the adult discussions sectons. The traffic to those two sections adds up to more than 50% of all page views. All the whore sections combined contribute less than 40% of traffic.

That is why traffic fell considerably when I culled membership from 390,000 members to 150,000 members by deleting accounts. This resulted in views of the picture section being reduced by 60% (because only members can view that section) but I thought it was a necessary sacrifice for the long term. A thread of 14 million views and counting was also removed because it contained shocking stuff.

While whore clients come and go in search of the best bang for their bucks, it is people like yourself who have a much longer term relationship with sammyboyforum and for that I am truly grateful.

To many of us this forum is like an old kopi tiam, we want to see her full of friends and in good shape.

Over the years, however, more assholes (OKT, clones etc) have moved in, and some solid contributors moved out as a result.

I don't know if any of these suggestions are feasible, but some suggestions to help beat back the assholes are:

1. Make down voting and upvoting transparent. This will reduce the silent sniping and bullying that makes posting here a negative experience. If possible I'd go so far as to make it transparent to all members which would help immensely to expose clones and gangs.

2. Get rid of the point exchange so points are earned not traded. I had 44 points after 10 years of not soliciting them and 200++ within 2 days of posting twice in the points exchange (and maybe 150 for my rants)

3. Make the points roll off over time, like golf or tennis world rankings. This, along with the above suggestions will eventually kill off the guys whose points far exceed their value. (And in many cases these guys have negative value)

I am not saying high point guys are the problem, I am saying there are some guys who are here to manipulate the system and one of the things they do is trade points and use their reputation to overwhelm low point posters.

What happened with this section is there were a lot of promotional FRs which I and others pointed out in the past, and when these FRs were questioned, the loyal "customers" or OKT go on a witchhunt to find the customer who posted the negative feedback. So these loyal "customers" or OKTs get very upset when their marketing ruse is exposed or questioned - and they take it personally and may even try to track your identity in order to harass you in real life so that u'll shut up and stop posting.

There are also those who get very sensitive when you mention certain houses or girls, as they are the girl's so called lover (stupid i know because which china girl really loves you? they're here for the money!). So for example if Samster A post about Girl B, he might get angry messages or even threats from the "lover" :rolleyes: not to post.

The problem is when these wars break out online, no one speaks up for the defenceless and often those who dare to share their honest opinions for discussion get cyber bullied into submission or silence. Their crime? Being actually honest in sharing which girls, houses or OKTs are good and which are well, plain lousy - and being to straightforward about it.

Also apparently, although we are online - we also must be polite and respect so-called "seniors" and all sorts of unwritten rules which make posting here a pain because why bother sharing if you have to observe so many "rules" and beware of so many egos? And one wrong word can unleash a massive clone attack where nick after nick (some that have not posted in years and will disappear after their purpose in cyber bullying their victim into submission is achieved). And sometimes, when these sinister characters can't out argue you online, they turn to threatening you in real life - so I think many have decided it's just not worth sharing.

In the past when questions were posed in the forum asking for feedback on a certain girl or house or some directions or advice, u would see replies almost instanty. You would also see a constant flow of FRs from various houses - not just the usual 3-4 houses these day - and from many different nicks - and not the same few you see these days. And there'd be active discussions and exchange of opinions everyday on girls.

Now it's just ... well, I think you can see for yourself what this forum has become... a place for arguments, tcss (nothing wrong with TCSS, just that there should be more discussions on the actual girls), and if you notice a lot of strange nicks that have not posted for years suddenly appearing or brand new nicks everyday asking newbie questions.

Nothing wrong with newbie asking questions - but some obviously fishy. Eg. Why need to say: "Hi, I'm newbie here, can i ask blah blah blah"

And then such nicks also will go around acknowledging the so-called "seniors" in the forum

It's almost as if the new nick is aware of the politics here in SBF and wants to act like some humble beginner respecting or the "gurus" here - but how would a newbie be aware of all this and why would he bother unless he is actually in fact a seasoned veteran in SBF, so therefore create new nick and try to get approval from the get go of various samsters in the geylang threads. Why post in SBF also need to act like newbie who know our place and bow to "seniors":confused: I know i didn't bother with that when i started posting, and i got hell for the "error". Or were these nicks created to support the opinions of certain samsters in order to give them "credibility?"

Just sharing my thoughts since you asked. All these factors made it plain pointless to post here anymore. You just look at the geylang threads where nothing much else is being discussed apart from random and rubbish stuff to pass the time here. Nothing wrong with that, as I do it too these days.

But how did it become like this? I think some of the reasons for this decline are listed above.

But really who cares now lah? It's too late to turn things around. Most will not bother to return to this place with so many sinister characters and clones waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting.

I don't know about others, but i now don't give a shit if this forum shuts down and is gone for good. Just leave this place to waste will do :cool:

To add, all one really needs to know is where the houses are between lorong 8-30 and their phone numbers which are listed here: https://www.sammyboyforum.com/showthread.php?t=321246&page=9

After that, one can navigate geylang alone. Just go from house to house, pick a girl you like. Fuck. After fucking, sit at the sofa area and observe girls coming in and out for maybe an hour or so if you have time. Ask the OKT for the girls name if you saw something you like. And note down as your next target.

You may also ask OKT who are the popular or new girls and which house. They sometimes might tell you, then you can call the girl down for viewing. Remember to tell OKT you only want to see, and not confirm will order the girl that is coming. this is important so the OKT will communicate with the other house okt that it is for viewing only, no confirmed deal. Or just go straight to the house with the girls mentioned and view for yourself if possible.

Try to visit a few different houses each time so you can see a variety of girls rather than stuck with the same few, this means less queue too for you.

As for harassment I have tried my best over the years and it is an impossible task to deal with for the simple reason that every party that I deal with will claim that the opposing camp started it first.

I had a great time with this forum since its Delphi days. Not sure if it went back to even the alt.sex days. Peak was when I was friggin' surfing SBF even during work until the IT guy (also cheongster) had to come to me and tell me to not surf SBF so much during work hahaha. Really miss the old cheongsters such as Psycho107, HCDiver, AnalYST, Cuntking, GLWarrior (RIP), AllSwinger and so on. And yes Walao too (oi where are you? limpeh miss you leh).

SBF is more than just GL; you also have the Malaysia and International sections which are quite popular with the globefuckers, so SBF will continue so long there are no alternatives.

And yes boss, I agree with someone's suggestion here to increase transparency here. Make both zaps and ups transparent. It will increase the level of personal responsibility and civility, and also reduce the incidence of clones.

I actually don't give a shit anymore about the points system or anything in this forum, but just decided to contribute my 0.5 cents on how we can improve the harmonious environment here and reduce all the issues that this thread was started to address - including the zapping, clones, and contributors with agendas and all that jazz as per below.

I see your point about how removing the system will upset some who have accumulated points whether by paying or otherwise- but many in this forum I think do not contribute much - if they get upset and leave, then maybe so be it - let only those really willing to contribute with no agenda remain here and rebuild from there.

I guess since sammy created the system where people could pay for points, then to remove points will be tough. Perhaps moving forward, all points whether given or deducted must show the nick and must include a comment. And it should be made into something that all samsters can see at a go.

So if you zapped someone and left a vile comment, everyone can see your nick and the abuse you dished out. If people mass up you, people can also see which nicks decided to do that and why. This way its discouraging to manipulate the system.

This is the alternative to my earlier suggestion.

This forum has got pretty bad and while there are still some good contributors, they are increasingly outnumbered by people with agendas and their clones.

I got zapped twice by an anonymous guy for voicing the opinion that Euros, while great to have, would be difficult to bring into Singapore.

Fact is this forum is losing viewer - simple googlefu will show a drop of 50-70% in traffic in the last year. Why waste time posting to get zapped?

I'm not boss Sam, but I do make an appeal as a forum that identifies good chicks and gets business for them is valuable to cheongsters. Without business, good chicks go back. When glowing reports get written on bad chicks, punters take their business elsewhere.

Anyway, this is my little vent. Hope things get better, it'd be a shame if they don't. I miss the old sharing, but then again I have other alternatives and won't shed tears for the current forum.

And he will not do away with the rep points and power system which was established many years ago as this is a very unique, interesting & creative system which one doesn't see it in other forums. Besides the tonnes of info one could gather in this forum, the rep point system can be very additive, motivating (to many) and therefore spiral participation exponentially in this forum. As such, I believe this is one of the objectives of having this system ... This forum has got pretty bad and while there are still some good contributors, they are increasingly outnumbered by people with agendas and their clones.

I got zapped twice by an anonymous guy for voicing the opinion that Euros, while great to have, would be difficult to bring into Singapore.

Fact is this forum is losing viewer - simple googlefu will show a drop of 50-70% in traffic in the last year. Why waste time posting to get zapped?

I'm not boss Sam, but I do make an appeal as a forum that identifies good chicks and gets business for them is valuable to cheongsters. Without business, good chicks go back. When glowing reports get written on bad chicks, punters take their business elsewhere.

Anyway, this is my little vent. Hope things get better, it'd be a shame if they don't. I miss the old sharing, but then again I have other alternatives and won't shed tears for the current forum.

The decrease in page views has nothing to do with the Geylang section or the points system. It was a result of locking out more than 150,000 members from the picture section. ;)

One has to be careful of those samster(s) who posted FR based on hearsay if you don't wanna waste your hard earned $$ and time ... Meaning that they have never tried the WLs before but simply posted the FR/comments based on 3rd party feedbacks.

There are also samsters who have never tried the WLs before but posted negative FR/comments on the innocent WLs just because they have an axe to grind against a particular samster who posted positive FR on that WL whom he bonked.

SBF is getting very complicated these days unlike 8-10 years ago ... There are lotsa weirdos, Bao-ers (getting less now), tricksters, love-lorns, some also tried to KC whores as they were lonely outside GL life, etc. etc. Fortunately there are still many normal punters who only seek to "fuck and go" ...

After certain number of years in SBF, one should be able to spot and identify which are the genuine FRs and which are not ...
