Rooting Motorola phones (before Lenovo bought over in 2014) is challenging due to it's strict security restrictions.

Using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) :


To Unlock Bootloader from locked phones.




Then replacing the ugly boot up warning notice with Motorola OEM boot logo.




Flash and root with CWM/TWRP.
