The Workers' Party's Mr Low is satisfied with the performance of his party, is he satisfied with his personal performance? People's Action Party's Victor Lye Thiam Fatt 赖添发 lost by a hairline margin of 700 votes to an old bird politician, I personally think Victor has emerged the victor.
Political analyst Derek Da Cunha: "only the WP is best placed to meet the expectation of many opposition supporters of an expanded opposition parliamentary presence. Anything short of an expanded opposition presence in Parliament would be considered disastrous by opposition supporters, and a major setback to the opposition movement."
