Knowing that he was going to have an erection, the matter with Roy should have been settled fast and finished with.
If Roy's punishment breached the legal limit to stand for election as MP, Roy won't be standing in AMK to debate his
favourite subjects.
Error #2
Taking on a young boy, even with the best of legally supporting reasons is never a good option.
Public sympathy will slide towards the underdog, more so when the "victim" is 17 years old.
Smacks of an absolute lack of strategic thinking with the bigger picture in mind. They are playing
checkers; Amos was playing chess.
Error2.5 (Jury still out)
The persistent use of the LKY name after the fatigue-laden months of "mourning" will bounce back
and hit them. When are we going to protect the poor dead man's reputation when the ministers of
varying degrees of stupidity give him credit for everything - from the encouragement of reading to
the garden city to the MRT? If they can give him all the credit, can they also "credit" him with our
debits as well?
When ever the LKY name is invoked we must ask ourselves - then what were the rest of the most
bloated cabinet doing all this past five decades? Is there nothing they can claim for themselves?
