Quote:SINGAPORE: A meeting for opposition parties to discuss where they will be contesting in the next General Election has been postponed, 938LIVE has learnt.

The meeting, organised by the National Solidarity Party (NSP) in a bid to avoid multi-corner fights where possible, was scheduled to be held on Friday.

But the Reform Party had earlier this week requested for a postponement of the meeting, as two of its key officers will be away on reservist that day.

938LIVE understands that the NSP has sought to accommodate the requested postponement from the Reform Party. Pending a response from one party, the meeting could be reconvened on Monday instead.
