An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Aljunied residents from all walks of life have come out to say that they do not recognise any of the potential candidates to be fielded in the Workers’ Party-held Aljunied GRC this coming General Election, expected to be held in Singapore in September or October 2015.
One resident, Bu Sou Xi, said: “If I said I find these people familiar, I would have lied five straight times in a row.”
“But I sure as hell don’t see Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s face in there. Which is worrisome, because this is disrespectful of PAP to field a suicide squad of unknowns in Aljunied GRC and trying to convince voters they are sincere about winning the seats back.”
“Good luck with this strategy.”
Other residents said as it will take time to familiarise with these new PAP candidates no one has heard of.
To expedite the process, residents have come up with aliases for them to make the remembering job easier.
One resident, Xiang Lai Eh, said: “There is the Indian guy, Chinese guy, lady, Malay and taller Chinese guy who looks like Kim Jong-un.”
“Great.”
