On National Day, a nationwide broadcast of the Proclamation of Independence
As Singapore marks 50 years of Independence, a recording of founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew reading the Proclamation of Independence will be played in grassroots-led events across the country and on all local TV and radio channels.
