Hmm....to many of us, it was Ah Gong in charge from 1959 till his death in 2015 this year. Ah Gong didn't need to be in the Cabinet to call the shots. Ah Gong is the Cabinet. Many of us still miss Ah Gong!

And so it seems, PM Lee certainly look like he’s in-charge because his father would probably have never implemented the following policies in recent years:
1) 6.9 million population
2) Unbridled influx of foreigners
3) Building of Casinos
4) HDB Asset Appreciation Policy
5) Raising of CPF Minimum Sum and Withdrawal Age
6) Spending billions on Garden By the Bay, Project Jewel, Bishan River and Jurong Lake (Lee senior is known to be thrifty and didn’t even supported the MRT investment because of its cost)
7) Raising of ministerial salaries
