Here's the real reason why the PAP wants to put two cronies to takeover the WP TC - the WP TC are exceptional good in managing their estates.
Robbed of $14 millions in mandatory grants, the WP TC is still able to maintain the service levels in the estates without significant disruption. The WP TC was already disadvantaged when the mandatory annual grant was lower than the PAP wards.
Imagine how much of our hard-earned money is being wasted by the PAP MPs.
The PAP doesn't want this embarrassing fact to emerge, thus the power grab from the elected MPs of the WP.
