PM expresses grief over Naltar helicopter crash

PM Nawaz Sharif has announced a day of mourning following the helicopter crash at Naltar which resulted in the deaths of 7 individuals including the Norwegian and Philippine envoys. A statement from the PM Office said that the PM offered condolences to the families of the deceased.


The PM instructed that the injured should be transferred to the nearest hospitals and should be provided with the best of facilities.

A condolence book is also to be opened by the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad for those who wish to pass condolences to the family of Mrs. Hery Listyawati, the late spouse of the Indonesian Ambassador Mr. Burhan Muhammad who lost her life in the crash.

COAS General Raheel Shareef also offered condolences and expressed grief over the tragedy


Condolences from a number of prominent public figures including Imran Khan and Sherry Rehman came in


Deepest condolences for all those who lost their lives in the Gilgit crash, including diplomatic corps. Heart goes out to their families
