Just curious and hoping someone can share on this topic. The most prolific AV production (apart from US) has to be Japanese AV. This country seems culturally shy and polite as compared to the other Asian states but I don't understand why their attitudes towards AV is so open. I mean Japanese man read porno on the train, they have shops selling AV openly, and some of their AV theme is simply outlandish - bondage, mature, school girl, rape etc
I am curious to understand the Japs mentality and how this all started and why no one protest in the country (not that I want them to stop producing AV) - anyone has Jap friends or familiar with this topic???
