An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Double-First starred is the highest level of First class honors you can ever obtain in Cambridge Law. In fact the second and third place finishers after LKY went on to be past Lord of Justices in the England high court. LKY scored full marks for advanced Law module. Imagine that? And we all know that Europeans back in those days are elitist and prejudiced against Asian.
Harry Lee could have been a Lord in first world London. He chose to come back to 3rd world Singapore, which was a mere fishing village back then. You say he did it for money? I have full respect for this guy. Amazing fella.
