Dear ladies and gentlemen,
On behalf on the people of Singapore, please raise the following hot button topics in parliament.

1: Former radiographer, Filipino Ed Mundsel Bello Ello has committed sedition by posting the following types of messages on his Facebook and Google+ accounts: Islamophobic hate speech, inciting his fellow Filipinos to post hate messages against Singaporeans, making death threats against Singaporeans, inciting his fellow Filipinos to stage a Makati Square style “people’s power” revolt to overthrow the Republic of Singapore and even tried to incite a communal riot between his fellow Filipinos and Singaporeans. If anybody deserves to be incarcerated under the ISA it is him. So WHY is it that despite his undoubted guilt, acknowledged by TTSH in firing him and in his remarks being criticized by the Health Minister, he has still NOT been arrested for it?

Instead, PM Lee just dismisses it as a rant while former NMP Calvin Cheng actually added fuel to the fire by calling Singaporeans “losers” who should just “laugh it off”. Isn’t this hypocritical of both PM Lee and Calvin Cheng when both had made police reports against death threats made against them? Nor is this the only incident. Previously, Pinoy waiter Topher yakuza also made death threats against Singaporeans. He too was never arrested for it. Can the MHA explain WHY the SPF are so incompetent that they are unable to arrest people who have committed such serious offences? Or is it that the government regards the lives or ordinary Singaporeans as worthless and not worth protecting? And shouldn’t Calvin Cheng ALSO be arrested for stirring up more discontentment? And WHAT is the point of serving national Service when foreigners can go unpunished despite making death threats against Singaporean?

2: WHY are Hindus barred from playing musical instruments during Thaipusam? Singing and dancing are integral parts of Hindu worship rituals. The music helps them keep to the rhythm. If it is because of past clashes between rival musicians, then why can’t the Hindu Endowment Board provide musicians themselves?
And for that matter, why isn’t lion dancing also banned since there have been clashes between rival lion dance troupes, many with secret society connections, in the past? And if the playing of musical instruments is banned for religious processions, then WHY is it allowed for the Saint Patrick’s Day parade when it too is a religious festival, the feast day of the Catholic saint Saint Patrick? As for the argument that making Thaipusam a public holiday will affect productivity and GDP growth, WHY can’t Thaipusam be made a public holiday and Labor Day discontinued as one then, especially since the NTUC has in recent years shown a truly dismal record in protecting Singaporeans against unscrupulous employers?
Thanks & best regards.

Enraged & pissed off Singaporean
