This was the suggestion given to visitors on what to do in sinkapore ...
Orchard Towers (4 Floors, colloquially). Evenings/nights. For the sheer spectacle of Western tourists & traveling business people on the prowl, or herds of Indian professionals trying to do the same while being subjected to systematic discrimination.
If there on a Sunday, go to the Marriot for brunch. Take a table outside, near the sidewalk. Take your time. Read a paper, catch up on web surfing using free wifi. And watch the spectacle that is coincident days off for maids (mostly Philippinas, some Indonesians and others) and Indian day laborers. Better yet, walk the few steps east to Lucky Plaza to observe the chaos as hundreds of Pinay maids simultaneously try to get a taste of home via a Jollibee's combo meal of a cheeseburger and spaghetti.
