Prelude
I apologize for using such an offensive title but this is probably the most appropriate title I can think of for what I am going to share...

I was driving home today, thinking about my encounter with alyna earlier in the afternoon and thinking about sharing it with the bros at sbf. So here goes.
Alyna (see picture link above), is a petite young office girl working as an analyst at my company. Being one of the more "prestigious" bank in Singapore, I was quite fortunate to surround myself with beautiful SYTs graduating from local universities, SIM included, and get to go on dates with them using my position as a MD.
3 months ago, Alyna had just graduated from a local university with cum laude in business management. She had applied with us and I was the hiring manager taking her interview. We were about to reject her as our bank only hire at least magna cum laude and above but I was attracted by her sweet and innocent looks. I called HR up and arranged an interview with her.
2 weeks later, I met Alyna in person for the first time. Standing at 160cm, she was rather short compared to many of my female subordinates in the office. However, she have that cute and innocent smile, something which is lacking in my department where the OLs put on heavy makeup to mask their vicious intent. She look to me curiously as I open the meeting room door for her.
Me: "Thank you for coming today. I have looked through your resume and heard that you are interested in joining us as a graduate associate for our bank. However, I am rather concerned with your ..."
few standard interview conversations later...
Me: "So may i know if you are fine with over time?"
Alyna: "yes i am alright with it"
Me: "do you have a boyfriend?"
Alyna *surprised* : "Yes, why?"
Me: "haha then you will see him lesser as our bank requires heavy commitment in our staff, especially in the positon of GA"
Alyna: "haha yes, i do understand. he is working at XXX and will be busy too but don't worry, we can handle it."
With that, I approved her application on the spot and 2 weeks later she came to our office. On her first day, she wore a tight blue body hugging dress (http://www.labella.sg/public/themes/product/images/921/DSC_0339.jpg). I escort her to her seat and got her to do some administrative work. Soon it was time for lunch and I was meeting a few NS buddies. I didn't know why but I feel that I should invite Alyna as well to "show her off" to my NS buddies. Alyna accepted my invitation and we headed to a jap restaurant at Amara.
Arriving at the restaurant, we were escorted to our private room where my NS buddies were waiting. When the door open, Alyna was surprised. One of my buddy friend was surprised too. I will just call him Lau from now on.
Lau: "Alyna, what are you doing here?"
Alyna: "Dad?! Why are you here?!"
I was shocked. Did Alyna just called Lau "dad" ?!
Me: "Lau ah, Alyna is your daughter?"
Lau: "ya la, what is she doing with you?!"
Alyna: "dad!!! I told you I am working at XXX bank right!!! He is my boss!!"
Me: "haha, i see.. i didn't know you 2 were..."
The rest of my army buddies were laughing.. However, it make sense. We were all in our late 40s - early 50s so it wouldn't be a surprise for Lau to have Alyna as daughter...
