A 16-year old boy had sex with a girl and was put on probation. But while on probation, he met another girl and had sex with her, and was put on probation again.
Lee Sze Kiat first met a 15-year-old girl and had sex with her. He was then placed on a 15-month probation and had to do 80 hours of mandatory community service.
But while doing his community service one day, he met another girl in September.
He had met the 13-year-old girl before and when they bumped into each other at the community club near her home, they started chatting again. She was there for a mid-autumn festival celebration.
He decided to invite her home.
There was no one at home the next day, so he invited her to his HDB flat in Boon Lay.
Then, he pressured her to have sex with him.
Lee committed the two offences that day.
He pleaded guilty to one count of sexual penetration with another taken into consideration.
For that, he was placed on probation again today.
This time, he had to perform 120 hours of community service and have to remain indoors from 10pm to 6am.
For his first probation, his parents had to sign a $5,000 bond to ensure his good behaviour. But this second time round, they had to pay double that amount, of $10,000.
He could have been jailed for up to 10 years and fined for each count of having sex with a person under 16 years.
