Spicy hot ‘cooks’ from Thailand play hide and seek

KOTA BARU : The Kota Baru Municipal Council (MPKB) has identified at least five restaurants in the district which are operating as fronts for prostitution.

However, enforcement officers have yet to catch the culprits red-handed despite several raids on the premises.

MPKB enforcement chief Ramly Che Hussin said the council believed the operators of the restaurants had been tipped off every time a raid occurs.

"We believe the Thai workers at the restaurants offer sex to clients at the premises and at other places if the clients so wish."

Ramly said the women, mostly in their 20s, entered the country masquerading as cooks and have valid working permits.

"Although the raids have failed, we are not giving up. We will watch them closely and nab them when their guard is down."

Woman filmed naked during khalwat raid

Questions raised over how clip was leaked onto YouTube and treatment of couple

A NEW controversy has broken out over the video-taping of a naked woman during a morality raid, scenes of which were later posted on YouTube.

The 1min, 16sec online video clip has caused a stir partly because it raises the question of how it came to appear on the YouTube video-sharing website, according to a Harian Metro report on Sunday.

The clip, titled in Bahasa - Naked Malay Girl Caught By Police Team D7: Recorded For Evidence? @ Free Show - has since been removed.

Beyond that, the incident could prove problematic for the authorities because of the way the woman was treated during the raid, suggesting that the officials involved did not follow procedures after storming the room where the couple was found.

The video footage also raises questions about the taping of couples caught in acts of close proximity, or khalwat.

Mr Faizal Ibrahim, the chief of the enforcement unit of the Penang Islamic Department, told the Harian tabloid that senior officials are allowed to carry video cameras during their raids for the purpose of evidence-gathering.

'I did not see the clip. There is a possibility that it is an actual operation against sinful activities because in operations carried out by us, we do take pictures and... make video recordings,' he said.

But he said that only the chief of the enforcement officers could hold a video camera.

In the clip that appeared on Youtube, an official could be seen pulling away a blanket covering a reclining woman, forcing her to grab a towel for cover.

This may be a breach of procedure because officials conducting such raids are not supposed to shame the couples caught.

Through its interviews with Penang officials, the tabloid hinted that the raid might have occurred in the northern state.

The incident is similar to one in November 2005 where a cellphone camera was used to capture images of a girl who was told to strip and perform squats in front of a policewoman.

The images, which were also distributed as a video clip, created a huge storm.

It was first thought that the woman was a tourist from China, and an embarrassed Malaysian minister went to Beijing to apologise for what had happened.

But it emerged later that the woman was a Malay who had been picked up by the police for a suspected drug offence.

The incident raised public anger because the photos were taken by a policeman in a lock-up.

The woman is now suing the police over the issue.

Harian Metro believes the police were not involved in the latest incident as a vest with the name of another agency was shown in the clip. It did not identify the agency involved.

Meanwhile, the Penang CID's chief of investigation, Datuk Abdul Samah Mat, said those with information on the Internet video should contact the police.

Sex stimulants and sex gadgets

Kosmo reported that several types of sex stimulants and gadgets were being sold openly in the local market without any apparent action by the authorities to stop the traders.

In a special report, the paper’s probe team found these items on sale around Jalan Pasar in Pudu and at several stalls at Jalan Chow Kit, Lorong Haji Taib and the Masjid Jamek area.

The traders were bold enough to display these products in the open and some of them allegedly offered to provide prostitutes, either at the shops or elsewhere, as a further incentive.

A reporter posing as a customer was allegedly told that although the authorities often conducted patrols, they seemed to close an eye to these products.

Among the wares on sale were a sex stimulant for women known as Spanische Fliege (or Spanish fly) which was rated as the top seller, goat’s eye lashes (to be placed on the male organs during sexual intercourse), synthetic male and female organs, a set of plastic condoms with studs and vibrators for both men and women.

Sex video: Woman gets gag order

KUALA LUMPUR : A woman in the centre of a steamy sex video trial was yesterday granted an order preventing her details from being published in the media.

The woman was videotaped having sex with her boyfriend who later threatened to distribute the video.

When the case was reported before it went to trial, particulars of the woman, including her address and place of work, were published in several newspapers.

The woman’s counsel, S.S. Ruban, applied for a gag order to prevent the Press from revealing her particulars.

The alleged victim was not in court yesterday when magistrate Azniza Mohd Ali granted the application.
Under Section 101(2) of the Subordinate Courts Act 1948 (Revised 1972), the name, address or photograph of the victim is not to be published.

Those convicted under this section face a maximum jail sentence of three years, a fine not exceeding RM5,000 or both.

In the dock is Mohd Rizal Mat Yusof, 35, a former MAS steward who was charged on March 8 with criminal intimidation for threatening to distribute a video of them having sex in an apartment in Sentul at 11.30pm on Feb 23.

Mohd Rizal informed the court that he had sought legal aid from the Bar Council and that it would take three to four months before he was provided with a counsel.

Azniza retained the original date of March 3 and 4, 2008 for trial.

Mohd Rizal was previously found guilty in 2004 of making two pornographic VCDs for public circulation entitled Kehidupan Seorang Pramugara Yang Terlampau.

He was sentenced to 18 months in prison but is currently out on bail pending an appeal.

Malaysians rank 6th fastest in love-making

KUALA LUMPUR : Malaysians spend an average of 19.9 minutes when they make love.

Hardly the stuff romance novels are made of, they ranked 6th quickest in the world in terms of time spent in a love-making session.

However, if it’s any consolation, the average time spent is above the global average of 18.3 minutes.

India’s lovers were the world’s quickest, spending only 13.2 minutes per session.

Nigeria once again topped the ranking on a leisurely 23 minutes.

Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and Australia were all well below the world average time.

Malaysians were just a heartbeat ahead of China’s lovers who took 20 minutes.

This was the findings from the "Global Sexual Wellbeing Survey" by condom-maker Durex. It was revealed at the ongoing World Congress on Sexual Health in Sydney, Australia.

More than 26,000 people from 26 countries were screened online by global research firm Harris Interactive from August to September last year.

Durex’s local distributor SSL Healthcare Malaysia general manager Voong King Yee said sex played a fundamental role in the physical and emotional well-being of a person.

The survey found two in five (or 38 per cent) of the 1,026 Malaysians polled were fully satisfied with their sex lives.

Forty per cent of Malaysian women were completely satisfied compared with 37 per cent of their male counterparts.

Want to know how you can spice things up?

"Seven in 10 (74 per cent) of the Malaysians surveyed said the situation could be remedied by injecting some old-fashioned love, tenderness, adventure and romance.

"Two-thirds (64 per cent) like more intimacy and better communication with their partners," said Voong.

Even in the "country of romance", France, they do not get it right all the time. Only 25 per cent said they were satisfied with their sex lives.

Nigerians, on the other hand, know something others don’t. They have the most people (67 per cent) satisfied with their sex lives, followed by Mexicans (63 per cent) and Indians (61 per cent).

The survey found that Malaysians have sex 115 times a year compared with the global average of 103.

The Greeks made an Olympian effort of 164 times, with Brazilians the next most amorous at 145, followed by the Poles and Russians (both 143) and Indians with 130.

The survey also found that Asians were least satisfied with their sex lives.

Australia’s Bond University sex expert Gabrielle Morrissey said it reflected cultural issues relating to sex in Asia. "Work is more important than sex in many Asian countries."

Woman asks teen neighbour to improve hubby’s libido

KANGAR : Some wives, it appears, aim to please. No matter what it takes.

A woman who found her husband’s libido waning in her presence wanted to make him happy.

So she asked her neighbour’s teenage daughter to give a helping hand — literally.

That act has landed the unemployed man and his homemaker wife in the lock-up.

Police arrested the couple after the 15-year-old girl’s family lodged a report.
According to police, the girl visited the couple’s fishing village house to meet their three children last Saturday.

The couple were in the bedroom at that time. A short while later, the woman called the girl into the bedroom and instructed her to massage her husband.

Handing over a bottle of red massage ointment to the girl, the woman instructed her to massage her husband’s genitals.

The terrified girl did what she was told, fearing she would be scolded if she did not follow instructions. When she slacked in the massaging, the woman apparently forced her to continue.

That was when the girl’s elder sister came by the house looking for her.

On the way home, the teenager confided in her 29-year-old sister and they later lodged a report at the Kuala Perlis police station.

Kangar district police chief Superintendent Yusof Md Diah said the case was being investigated under Section 377D for outrage of decency. Anyone found guilty under this could be jailed up to two years.

Yusof said the couple would be remanded for two weeks.

A living hell after getting porn photos

ALL major Chinese dailies reported on how the life of a marketing manager has become living hell after she began receiving doctored pornographic photographs of herself through e-mail.

Quoting the 35-year-old woman from Selangor, who wanted to be identified only as Yang, China Press reported that the perpetrator had superimposed pictures of her face with the body of a naked woman.

“I am afraid this person may circulate the doctored pictures and spoil my reputation,” she said.

Yang said the ordeal began last year when she received e-mails containing pornographic photos from an unknown person.

“What sickened me is that some of the photos sent to me showed people having sex,” she said.

Yang said she nearly suffered a mental breakdown as a result of the pornographic e-mails.

She said she wrote to the

perpetrator, asking why the pornographic e-mails were sent to her but the person threatened her instead.

When her husband sent an e-mail to the person, he received a reply containing their home address.

“The perpetrator even threatened to show up at our house,” she said, adding that she had lodged two police reports.

Shops selling sex products

PETALING JAYA : When your child goes to the grocery store or medicine shop, be wary if he or she has made an extra purchase that you had not asked for.

Some vendors are promoting sex-related products to shoppers, including pornographic materials and aphrodisiacs, for as little as 70 sen.

Undercover officers from the Malaysian Crime Prevention Association (MCPA) have also found fake Viagra pills selling for as low as RM20 per pack.

For 70 sen, one can get a so-called hallucination powder made from betel nut called pan parag, which has been banned in India.

Going for less than RM10 is a clear liquid that allegedly stimulates sexual desire among women as well as assorted pornographic lighters, playing cards and magazines.

Association president Ravi Ponnan told a press conference here yesterday that he and his officials went undercover for a month to gather these products.

He believed they had been smuggled into the country.

“It’s surprising to find that many grocery stores, medicine shops, pasar malam stalls and mini markets are selling these products.

“Youths are naturally curious and such products are a bad influence and could lead to escalating social ills,” he said.

Ravi added that the MCPA would submit a report to the Prime Minister as well the relevant ministries and authorities soon.

“It is not just these sex-oriented products that we are worried about. Even toy guns, electric stunner flashlights and cheap liquor, some as cheap as RM3 per bottle, are easily available.”

“It is possible that these syndicates are also responsible for producing counterfeit notes, another problem that is plaguing the country,” he said.

Ravi claimed that hallucination products were popular among workers from China and Myanmar as a “quick and easy” fix.

Students sell bodies for handphone prepaid cards

FOR a RM10 top-up for their handphones, some schoolgirls are willing to sell their bodies, Harian Metro reported.

These so-called “top up” girls, first get to know the men through the Internet chat room and then go out on dates with them.

Sue (not her real name) said she started out just to look for fun and then it became habitual.

She would ask her men friends to buy her a RM10 prepaid card for her phone before going out with them and then, later, taken to a “port” to have sex.

“Usually, they take me to their rented houses. Sometimes, we just loiter around the city and watch movies.

“We do this normally during the weekends and most of these guys are the mat motor type,” said the 17-year-old, who said some of her schoolmates also indulged in such activities. Some of them provided phone sex.

Sue said it all started after she was jilted by a man, in his 20s, whom she had gotten to know through the Net.

“We exchanged telephone numbers and started having phone sex daily, before I finally met him after a month.

“His charming and romantic nature made me follow him to his house where we had sex,'' she said, adding that after a year later she found out that he was two timing her.

It was after that that she started to sell her body to anyone willing to top-up her phone credit.

Prostitutes jump on Monorail tracks to escape cops

KUALA LUMPUR : About 20 prostitutes disrupted the Monorail service for an hour last night when they leapt from a shoplot onto the tracks to avoid arrest.

Unfortunately, that did not deter police and firemen who chased and nabbed them during a vice raid in Brickfields.

In the 11pm operation, two double-storey shoplots in Jalan Thambipillai were raided by a police team.

Firefighters broke the locks as the occupants refused to open the doors.

Meanwhile, about 20 prostitutes inside the rooms went up a staircase to the roof and from there, jumped on to the tracks near the KL Sentral station.

Assisted by Monorail staff, police and firemen took an hour to round up the prostitutes who were running on the tracks. They were nabbed and brought down via emergency stairs used by train engineers during repairs.

45 people, including 17 customers and 7 transvestites were picked up during the two-hour raid. All arrested were locals.

JITRA : A 34-year-old commerce teacher will have a lot of accounting to do after he was caught romancing a 16-year-old student at a secluded spot in Changlun here yesterday.

The teacher promised that he and the student would not repeat their actions if the officers let them off the hook.

However, their pleas failed to sway the officers.

The two are expected to be charged soon under Section 9(1) of the Kedah Syariah Criminal Enactment 1988 for committing khalwat.

If convicted, they could be fined RM2,000 each or jailed for a year, or both.

Sisters kidnapped and forced into sex trade

KLANG : Two underage sisters will never forget March 29, a date that has been seared into their memory for life.

Their ordeal began at 8.30pm that night when they were abducted outside their home here by several men and taken on a terror ride that changed their lives forever.

They were taken to a double-storey house here and raped by their captors.

The next morning, the secondary students were forced into prostitution.

For the next 45 days, they had sex with scores of customers at all hours of the day.

They could not escape as they were under the watchful eyes of their kidnappers.

Their chance to flee came on Friday when their captors went out, leaving them alone in the house.

It is understood that the sisters opened the door and walked out to freedom — but they did not know where they were.

So, they hid in bushes near the house, waiting for cars to come by.

A passer-by discovered them the next morning and sent them to the district police headquarters where their statements were recorded.

Police then sent them to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for a medical examination.

Selangor assistant CID chief ACP Chee Cheng Wan confirmed the incident.

It is learnt that police believe the suspects were locals and are trying to identify them.

Murder suspect linked to sisters’ kidnap, gang-rape

SHAH ALAM : A suspect arrested for an abduction-cum-murder case has been fingered as one of the suspects linked to the abduction and rape of two sisters.

The sisters had been abducted by a group of men on March 29 while out on a shopping trip.

They were taken to a double-storey house where about 10 men took turns raping them.

Between March 29 and May 11, the girls were confined to a room and raped almost daily by their captors.

Last Friday, the sisters escaped from their "prison" and spent the night hiding in the bushes.

On Saturday, a passer-by discovered them and sent them to the Klang police headquarters.

They were then sent for a medical examination at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang.

Police now believe that one of those who abducted and raped the sisters is the suspect currently in custody. He was nabbed last week in connection with the earlier abduction-cum-murder case.

In that case, photographer and wedding planner V. Netyanathan and his girlfriend were abducted by a group of men in Banting on April 26.

The woman was believed to have been gang-raped and released the following day, after which she lodged a police report.

Police rounded up several men and one of those nabbed was the suspect, who is now believed to be linked to the sisters’ case.

On May 2, Netyanathan’s body was discovered in Taman Sungai Kapar Indah.

It is believed that the 29-year-old victim was murdered by the group for refusing to disclose the whereabouts of a friend.

A total of six suspects, including a woman, were arrested to facilitate investigations. One of the suspects subsequently led police to the location of the body.

The women were also said be “telemarketing” their services by calling up phone numbers from advertisements in the newspapers and yellow pages.

Foreign wives preferred by Malaysian men

AN increasing number of Malaysian men are “buying” foreign wives, reported Utusan Malaysia.

Several matchmaking agencies are helping them to seek out the women, added the paper, quoting Women, Family and Community Development Ministry parliamentary secretary Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.

She said the agencies would find partners that fit the description given by the men, who had actually not met their prospective wives before.

“After the marriage, a lot of problems surface due to cultural differences, misunderstandings and being implicated with syndicates out to cheat the men,” said Chew, when replying to Senator Nordiana Shafie in the Dewan Negara.

On another issue, she told Senator Datuk Abdul Rashid Ngah that among the factors that had led to women delaying their marriages was the difficulty of getting compatible partners.

Citing the attitude of Chinese women, she said: “A highly-educated and high-earning woman will not marry a man of a lower status than her.”

Likewise, she added, Chinese men prefer women who are less educated then them.

Chinese women forced into vice trade

CHINA Press reported that two women from China who came to Malaysia to work in karaoke joints were forced to become prostitutes after arriving here in September.

The women, identified as Tham, 30, and Zhang, 24, said they only escaped after telling their “bodyguard” that they needed to answer nature’s call.

Tham said she and Zhang were good friends from the same village in China and were unemployed when they heard that they could earn RM40 an hour in karaoke joints here.

A middleman agreed to make the necessary arrangements for 6,000 renminbi (RM2,659) which included return air tickets and work permits, they said.

They were to pay the money after they got their wages here, according to the report.

However, when they arrived in Kuala Lumpur, the middleman told them that their work permits had been suspended and they could not work in karaoke joints.

“He then forced us to prostitute ourselves instead,” Tham claimed.

When the women initially refused, they were given only one small meal a day.

They were eventually forced to take in customers, she said.

Very loud ‘no’ to China maids

PETALING JAYA : The proposal to bring in domestic help from China has triggered strong opposition from women leaders of Chinese-based parties in the Barisan Nasional and the DAP who fear that Chinese nationals might wreck Malaysian families.

“There is distrust of Chinese nationals among the local Chinese community as even now there are many broken marriages because of mainland Chinese women,” DAP leader Teresa Kok said.

The Seputeh MP suggested the Government look into providing more childcare centres for working women, saying “if we have enough childcare centres, it would help tackle the problem of maid shortage.”

Wanita MCA chief Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen has already voiced the movement’s objection to the proposal, saying that Chinese nationals would cause social problems.

Last week, Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Radzi Sheikh Ahmad said Malaysia was considering getting domestic maids from China and India to alleviate a shortage in supply from Indonesia and the Philippines.

Agensi Pekerjaan Teletemps Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd manager Jeffrey Lai said he did not think that the Malaysian community would accept China maids due to existing social problems.

“I would rather see maids brought in from Vietnam or Myanmar as they are less problematic,” he said.

Penang Wanita Gerakan head Ng Siew Lai said the movement was against the government’s proposal, adding “it is not a good idea based on our experience. We have been getting daily complaints to the extent that we cannot resolve the existing problems.”

Ng said some housewives had complained that their husbands were spending too much time in karaoke lounges and pubs that employed Chinese nationals.

“Their marriages are breaking up because some of the men have taken these women as their mistresses,” she said, adding that 80% of the employers of domestic maids in the country were Malaysian Chinese.

In contrast, Penang-based Women Centre for Change executive director Loh Cheng Kooi said the nationality of the foreign maid should not matter while Bukit Mertajam MP Chong Eng said there should not be any “prejudice and discrimination” against Chinese nationals.

Payslip perk for GROs in the capital

A NUMBER of girls, including those who are highly educated, are willing to work as guest relations officers (GROs) in posh karaoke centres in the capital because their employers are now issuing them with payslips.

Harian Metro reported that payslips made the job more “attractive” as the GROs could now take bank loans to buy a house and a car.

The report said this was the main lure used by the karaoke centres to get girls to work there.

The 18 to 28-year-olds would reportedly fulfil every request of their clients when entertaining them as a “booking” charge would be added to their bill.

According to the report, one very popular GRO in a top class karaoke lounge, made an average of RM25,000 a month because of her skills in taking care of her clients.

A former GRO in her 20s who goes by the name of Rinie told the newspaper that other than a payslip, they also had to clock in for work and that for each minute they were late, RM10 would be deducted from their pay.

“When I worked in a classy karaoke joint, I made RM10,000 a month entertaining VIPs and rich men,” she said.

She said the working hours were from 9pm to 3am and clients included foreigners from Europe and Asia.

Report from The STAR dated Friday 1 June 2007 :-

Give Chinese maids a chance, urges Papa

KUALA LUMPUR : Malaysians should give Chinese maids a chance and not object to the move to bring them in, said Malaysian Association of Foreign Housemaids Agencies (Papa) president Datuk Raja Zulkepley Dahalan.

“Not all Chinese girls who come here are pretty. So, if you are not comfortable with Chinese maids, then just don’t take them.

“After all, the employer is given the bio-data with the photo of the maid, and both husband and wife, as employers, can see what the girl looks like. If she’s pretty, then don’t choose her, “ he said in an interview.

He added, however, that not all those who employed maids were Chinese, and it was not right to stop others from employing these maids.

Women leaders in Chinese-based parties recently objected to bringing in domestic help from China, saying that mainland Chinese women could break up marriages and cause social problems.

They said husbands could take these women as mistresses.

However, Raja Zulkepley pointed out that if husbands wanted to stray, they could do so even with Indonesian, Vietnamese or Filipino maids.

“When we first brought the Indonesian maids in, there was initially a fear among the Malay women that their husbands could fall for the maids and take them as another wife because Muslim men are allowed four wives. But while there might have been a few such cases, you don’t hear of this problem anymore,” he said.

He questioned why the Malaysian Chinese women were not objecting to the Government’s move to bring in maids from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan as well.

“The women from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are prettier and cuter than those from China,” he said.

There has been a shortage of maids in the country, with a 50% drop of those from Indonesia. To overcome the shortage, the Government is looking at allowing the hiring of maids from China, Laos, Nepal, Myanmar, Timor Leste, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and India.

Raja Zulkepley said 94.8% of the maids here were from Indonesia and pointed out one of the reasons for the 50% drop was the better wages in countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and those in the Middle East.

Letter to The Editor : China maids are good

WHEN the government announced its intention to consider maids from China, many women and women organisations were quick to voice their objections and fears that maids from China would cause disharmony in the family.

I believe this objection is clouded by emotional outburst rather then anything else.

Undeniably there are many cases of local men flirting with Chinese women but most, if not all, of these women are here for the wrong reason. They are here to make quick money and work in entertainment centres.

Naturally, they are more willing to seduce men and are receptive to any indecent proposal.

Not all men are without morals and self-discipline to visit these women. Equally, many men take women from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Laos, are we going to bar maids from all of these countries too?

Some Malaysians are involved in vice activities overseas too.

It is not fair for us to generalise and presume that all of them are bad.

Malaysia women should have confidence in themselves and their husbands too.

Maids from China have many advantages that we need to seriously consider before brushing it aside.

The maid can help teach our children Mandarin which is becoming increasingly important.

She will be able to cook Chinese food, not forgetting that most family that use maids will be Chinese.

In cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzen, Guangzhou and Chengdu, Chinese women workers are seen to be very hardworking and disciplined.

They share the same Chinese culture that makes many things like eating out, festival celebration and communication easier.
Chinese women who are willing to come as maids are not the same with those who just want to make quick money through immoral activities.

Let's put our biasness aside and evaluate this option objectively.

Daughter tells of family shame

A MOTHER not only allowed her four daughters to be raped by their father and three brothers but also used a bomoh to cast a spell to get them to willingly become prostitutes, reported Harian Metro.

The tabloid said the four teenagers were forced to prostitute themselves to relatives and foreigners in Johor Baru.

They were also beaten, abused, and had spells cast on them if they refused to submit to their father and brothers.

One of the victims, known only as Wani, 19, said she started being raped seven years ago after completing her primary education in Ulu Tiram, Johor.

“While other teenagers were busy thinking about schooling, we were ordered by our mother to sleep with our father and three brothers,” she said.

She added that after her father and brothers were “satisfied” with them, she and her sisters would be forced to sleep with close relatives.

The teenage victim claimed that the mother had threatened to poison them if they resisted.

She said she was “cured” of her mother's spell after she visited a bomoh.

“Although I am now married and live elsewhere, I still get threats from my family,” she said, adding that in the middle of last year, her father and brothers broke into her house and photographed her while she was bathing.

They threatened to put the pictures on the Internet if she did not return home.

She said she had lodged eight police reports to protect herself.

Husband a woman, court told

MALACCA : "He" was actually a she.

The syariah court heard yesterday that Mohd Sufian Mohamad, 40, was a woman when "he" married Zaiton Aziz, 43.

Malacca Hospital gyneacologist Dr Nor Hasinah Mohd Said said a physical examination carried out with two other specialists revealed that Sufian was not a man.

"Chromosome tests also confirmed that ‘he’ was a woman.

"I also conducted a blood test which indicated that the sample belonged to a woman," she said.

Dr Nor Hasinah was replying to questions posed by syariah lawyer Mohd Mokhtar Karim.

Sufian, who was registered as Mazinah Mohamad at birth, is charged under section 11 of the Malacca Islamic Family Enactment 2002.

The couple’s marriage, so-lemnised by imam Ishak Juki from the Bukit Cina mosque, had been deemed legal as all procedures had been adhered to.

However, problems surfaced a few months later when the Malacca Religious Affairs Department refused to register the marriage after becoming suspicious of the bridegroom’s gender.

The couple, who now live in Selangor, stand to have their marriage annulled if the court finds them guilty.

Asked if there was a possibility of Sufian being a herma-phrodite, Dr Nor Hanisah said this was not the case.

Another witness, Dr Mohd Safian, who examined the defendant on Jan 20 last year at the Malacca Hospital Casualty Unit, said Sufian did not have a prostate gland.

Hearing continues.

Drama, tears fail to save Uzbeks

KOTA BARU : They did it again.

Two Uzbek women whose first court appearance on a charge of prostitution ended in a ruckus on Sunday caused another stir at the same court yesterday.

Elena Ismatova, 28, and Oynur Djantureva, 27, had drawn much attention that day when they started crying and screaming after finding out that they were to be jailed.

Yesterday, the duo, who initially claimed trial to prostitution at a house in Jalan Long Yunus on June 25, changed their plea.

But when magistrate Ahmad Faiz Munawar fixed today for sentencing, the women protested over the delay and cried again.

They hugged each other and sat on the floor of the dock.

Police and court officials managed to calm them down after 10 minutes and they were later escorted to the police lock-up.

Wedding on a tuk tuk

IN Thailand, Muslim couples can even get married in a tuk tuk, the three-wheel public transportation vehicle commonly seen on the streets, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“Marriage agent” Wan Abdul Wahab Abdul Hamid, 52, said Thailand was a popular place for Malaysian Muslim couples to get hitched because of the more relaxed rules and conditions there.

He told Utusan that he had even taken several VIP couples, including artistes, to Thailand to get married.

“There is not much hassle to getting married in Thailand. For example, a couple can get hitched as long as they had travelled the stipulated distance under the marhalah condition,” he was quoted as saying.

You need to pay the imam RM450, the paper said. However, a couple needs to pay between RM1,000 and RM2,000 to the agent.

Regular patrons get to watch but not touch naked dancers

BESIDES drinks and music, nude dancers are keeping the night hot at some so-called elite clubs in the city, Harian Metro reported.

However, the nightspot operators provide the erotic fare for just their regular patrons; allowing them to watch but not touch the naked dancers.

A regular club-hopper came to the paper’s office to show a performance that he had recorded on a phone-camera at a nightspot in Cheras.

He claimed that these dancers are featured only on certain nights and would perform between 9pm and midnight. The nude shows would last for just 15 minutes or for the duration of three songs.

“The club charges RM110 per patron, who will be ushered into a VIP room that also has a karaoke system and a bar.”

He said he also knew of a similar club in Hartamas.

However, he added, this club was more strict in the sense that patrons had to first surrender their phones with camera features or any recording device prior to the performance.

He said the Hartamas club charges its clients RM150 to RM350 each to watch the show, where the dancers perform in glass cubicles between 7pm and 10pm on selected nights.

Bouncers manning the entrance would first screen the patrons, denying entry to newcomers and non-familiar faces.

Calls for RM30 sex puzzle hair stylist

KUALA LUMPUR : Hair stylist Wong Yoke Fui, 26, dreads it when her handphone rings.

It’s not that she is anti-social: It’s just that she has been receiving more than 30 calls a day since July 23 from people wanting sexual services.

She is puzzled as to why someone had posted her number on the Internet.

"The men told me that an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) chat-room had posted my contact number and an offer of sexual services at RM30 per session," she said.

Wong, who is married, said some of the callers responded with vulgarities when she told them that she was a decent person.

"I don’t know who posted the messages and can’t think of anyone who would do this to me," she said.

Wong’s husband, who declined to be identified, pretended to be her and took down details of a frequent caller.

He lodged a report yesterday at the Shah Alam police station.

MCA Head of Public Services and Complaints Department, Datuk Michael Chong, said the department had identified the person and was co-operating with police on the matter.

Chong said he had come across seven cases of young women who had become victims of sexual harassment after their names and phone numbers were posted on the Internet.

"Most of these cases involved jilted ex-boyfriends or rejected men who want revenge," he said.

Teen’s encounter with ‘girl gang from hell’

MUADZAM SHAH, Pahang : She was their schoolmate but they showed no mercy as they punched and kicked her and tore off her clothes.

Not satisfied with what they had done, some of them whipped out their handphones and recorded the incident, with the naked victim cowering in fear.

This may sound like a horrifying attack by a bunch of gangsters but, shockingly, the assailants were a group of Form Four girls. Their victim was another Form Four student from the same school.

The 16-year-old victim from Felda Keratong now faces further humiliation as the video clip recorded by some of her assailants on their handphones is making the rounds here and in Johor.

"I was so depressed after a friend in Muar told me that the video clip had been circulated. I hope the authorities can do something to stop it," said the girl, who together with her assailants, is a student at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Keratong.

She was allegedly assaulted and stripped by the group at a house here about 4pm on Friday.

The group was said to have acted brutally. Three of them had apparently recorded the attack on the girl, including the moment when she was naked.

Relating the incident, the second of three siblings said she had met two members of the group at a stall and was told to meet them at a house later.

When she arrived, the nine girls present forced her to admit that she had belittled one of them.

"After I had said what they wanted, they pulled my hair, and punched and kicked me non-stop."

The girl said when she fell down, the group tore off her T-shirt and jeans before cutting off her undergarments.

"I begged them to stop but they refused. Three of them took out their handphones and filmed me without my clothes."

The girl claimed the group had threatened to circulate the video clip if she told others about the incident.

"They also said that they would pay a man to rape me in front of them if I exposed their acts," she said tearfully.

Rompin district police chief Deputy Superintendent Abdullah Sani Salat said the nine students were arrested on Sunday but were released on police bail yesterday.

He said police had recorded their statements and would wait for instructions from the deputy public prosecutor’s office.

NINE secondary schoolgirls beat up their schoolmate mafia-style and took nude photographs of her after cornering her as she was on her way to a friend’s house, Harian Metro reported.

The victim repeatedly denied the accusation but the nine girls, not satisfied with her reply, beat her up and slapped her before stripping her naked, the daily reported.

The assailants then used a mobile phone to take pictures of the nude victim as she lay crying on the roadside.

After her attackers left, the victim returned home and related the incident to her family, who then took her to lodge a police report.

The victim received treatment at the Muadzam Shah Hospital for bruises. Police have detained the nine girls.

Women forced to have sex with Bakun workers

MIRI : Local and foreign women are believed to have been abused as sex workers to "service and keep happy" the thousands of workers working in and around the RM6bil (US$1.72bil) Bakun hydro-electric dam project site in the deep interior of central Sarawak.

These workers are mostly foreigners and total more than 2,000. The women are made up of local women as well as foreign women who were brought in from neighbouring countries.

Yesterday, the state police busted one syndicate supplying sex workers to this project site, located in the Belaga district in Kapit Division, some 400km south of here.

The Star has learned that there is a possibility that these “sex-for-labour” activities in the region are widespread, with mobile units of sex workers being moved around by gangsters and crime lords to not only serve workers at the dam site, but also in timber and oil palm plantations in the region.

The Bakun dam project encompasses more than 60,000 hectares, an area the size of the whole of Singapore.

Journalist suing hospital for taking pictures of her private parts

PENANG : A freelance journalist who went for a haemorrhoids operation is suing the hospital for taking photographs of her private parts without her consent.

Lee Ewe Poh, 48, obtained a High Court interim injunction yesterday to stop defendants Dr Lim Teik Mau and Loh Guan Lye & Sons Sdn Bhd from publishing, reproducing, distributing or replicating the photographs taken by Dr Lim during the operation last Dec 21.

The interim injunction was granted pending the disposal of the suit. The High Court has fixed Sept 6 to hear the defendants’ application to strike out Lee’s claim.

During Thursday's hearing of the application for an interim injunction, Lee’s counsel K. Simon Murali submitted that she had sought treatment at the hospital last Dec 20.

Following consultation with Dr Lim, Lee agreed to a procedure known as stapler haemorrhoidectomy and she checked into the hospital the same day.

“The procedure was carried out by the first defendant (Dr Lim) the next day and to facilitate the performance of the procedure, the plaintiff was placed in a position exposing her anus and vagina,” Simon Murali said.

He said Dr Lim used his digital camera to take photographs of Lee’s exposed private parts at the beginning of the procedure as well as after.

Lee was not informed that photographs would be taken, he said.

“She only came to know about the photographs on Dec 27. When contacted, Dr Lim told her that the photos were for reference purposes, to be shown to other patients who consult him,” he said.

Lee is seeking a permanent injunction against the use of the photographs, as well as damages.

Dr Lim’s counsel J.J.Chan in reply, said the photographs were taken of the anus only and they were done to show Lee the results of the procedure.

He said the photos, which were part of Lee’s medical records, were at all times meant to be kept private and confidential.

“When Lee confronted Dr Lim, the latter had offered to delete both photos in her presence but she refused.

“There has been no threat whatsoever by Dr Lim to publish or reproduce the photos,” he said.

Chan added if the injunction was granted, it would open floodgates as patients would want to seek injunctive relief each time after receiving treatment although there had been no threat by the doctor to breach confidentiality.

Ramsun Ho who represented the hospital said the alleged act was carried out by the medical consultant and had nothing to do with the hospital.

Sex romps when parents are away

5 schoolgirls and several boys held no-holds-barred sex romps when their parents were not at home, Harian Metro reported.

The girls, aged 13 to 17, allegedly gave their bodies willingly to the boys, who grouped under the names “Geng Apache,” “Pangkah Shell” and “Budak Shell,” the tabloid said.

The boys favoured these girls from three schools in Putrajaya over others because they are said to be promiscuous and need not be “forced” into having sex.

Sources told the paper that the girls were so daring that they carried out their exploits at either their or the boys' homes after school and when the parents were not at home.

However, their illicit activities were exposed after 25 schoolboys were caught smoking and sniffing glue in two houses at Precincts 9 and 11, Putrajaya.

Several of the boys confessed that they had had sex with the girls over the past few months without any of their families knowing about it.

Sources said no action had so far been taken against either the boys or the girls, because no police report has been made.

Bakun sex slaves cry for help

MIRI : Gangsters are believed to be holding several foreign women as sex slaves at the giant Bakun dam site, in remote central Sarawak, and the women are crying for help through SMSes to The Star.

Their fear and desperation were also expressed in text messages about a grave the women had found with a crossed-stake planted on it.

The grave served as a chilling reminder that there was no way out but death for those who defied the gangsters.

A non-governmental organisation came to know about their plight and gave the women the telephone number of this reporter.

A woman, who has been sending the messages and making calls to The Star, claimed that the foreign women were being confined and abused for sex services.

The messages were accompanied by appeals for help. Some of the messages read:

> Pls sir help us.

> Not fine, sir.

> We cannot stand here sir.

> My friends very pitiful here.

> Can you come help us sir?

The Star has forwarded the text messages to senior police officers in Bukit Aman for action. Some 2,000 people are working at the 60,000ha Bakun dam, which is about the size of Singapore.

Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Talib Jamal confirmed that police had evidence of people bringing women to the project site for sex.

“They bring in the women to ‘service’ workers in and around the Bakun project site,” he said, adding that due to the magnitude of the project, the RM6bil Bakun hydroelectric dam had attracted many workers.

He said certain people had set up makeshift entertainment centres there for the workers’ leisure.

It is learnt that the women are moved around in four-wheel-drive vehicles and vans to the entertainment centres.

Labourers involved in timber fields and oil palm plantations within the Kapit Division are also said to be enjoying the sex services.

Gangsters and syndicates are said to be supplying the women, both local and foreign, to the workers at the project site in Belaga district.

“These people are cashing in on the situation. We believe some of these women were brought into the state illegally,” Comm Talib told The Star.

On Tuesday night, police crippled one of the suspected syndicates providing the sex services.

A pimp and 10 women from Indonesia, the Philippines and China were picked up about 189km from Bintulu town, near Bakun.

Asked how the women were brought into Sarawak, Comm Talib said there were two possibilities – via entry points and transported to Bakun to be used as sex slaves, or smuggled in over the porous 1,000km Sarawak-Kalimantan border.

Sex or pay up, threatens debt collector

KUALA LUMPUR: Settle the debt or be my mistress.

That was the message a debt collector gave to a sales executive who had helped a friend get a RM280,000 loan from a moneylender.

Jenny Lee, 39, had introduced the friend to the moneylender, identified only as Loke from Cheras, two years ago and received a small commission from the latter.

The friend, whom she referred to as Goo, had promised he would settle the loan in full but when his cheque for the amount bounced and Goo disappeared, Loke turned to Lee for the debt.

He sent a debt collector to see Lee to demand that she pay him instalments of RM20,000 a month. The debt collector, who said his name was Ah Seng, told her she should pay up or be his mistress.

"I refuse to sell my body to settle someone else’s loan. I truly do not know what to do now," said Lee.

She said she had introduced Goo to Loke because she had thought the former, who was married with five children, was trustworthy.

When the debt collector came by, she paid him RM4,000 as she was afraid for her life.

Lee then lodged a report at the Pandan Indah station.

Unsure of what to do next, she turned to MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong.

Chong set up a meeting between Lee and Loke to negotiate a settlement. Loke eventually agreed to allow Lee to pay RM500 a month to settle the outstanding debt, including interest, of RM300,000.

"I hope Goo will come out of hiding to settle the debt as I have received many threats and I still fear for my life," said Lee.

‘Cop raped me, took nude pix’

PENANG : A factory worker has lodged a police report against a police officer for allegedly raping her and then taking pictures of her in the nude at a hotel in George Town here.

And to add to the woman's misery, the police officer, an Assistant Superintendent in his late 40s, mailed the pictures to her army officer husband and two colleagues last month.

She befriended the policeman, who was used to be attached to the Seberang Prai police but was recently transferred to Kuala Lumpur, when she went to see him to reduce her traffic summons in 2004.

The alleged rape took place sometime in the past three years. The policeman wanted to continue seeing the mother of five, who is in her 30s, after his transfer but she refused and he threatened her.

Her husband received the lewd pictures of his wife, which were sent to his office through the post. He confronted her and took her to lodge a police report on July 24.

Statements have since been taken from both parties. A laptop computer, a handphone and a printer were seized from the policeman's office in Kuala Lumpur last week.

The lewd pictures, said to have been taken when the woman was asleep, have also been handed over to the police as evidence.

Police have classified the case as criminal intimidation by anonymous communication under Section 507 of the Penal Code, which carries a two-year jail term and a possible fine.

State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Koh Hong Sun, when contacted yesterday, confirmed that a police report had been lodged but declined to elaborate as investigations were pending.

‘Men bored with marital sex after five years’ of marriage

ABOUT 80% of married men face erectile dysfunction five years into their marriage because of having a single sex partner, China Press reported yesterday.

It quoted Singapore's Dr Yu Wei Siang, who is otherwise known as Doctor Love, as saying that 50% of men faced the problem with their sex partner after being married for between three and five years and 80% of them after being married for five years.

The paper said it was normal for a married couple to experience low libido after having the same partner for a long period of time.

Dr Yu was invited by the Johor Baru Tionghua Federation to speak in Johor Baru about sex on Sunday.

Most members of the audience preferred to ask questions via SMS.

He advised married couples to take the trouble to look for new environment and stimulation.

Malaysian student may face music over ‘Negaraku’ rap video

PUTRAJAYA : The Malaysian student in Taiwan who used Negaraku in a Mandarin rap video clip may be in trouble.

Police are considering action under the Sedition Act against the 24-year-old man, who goes by the name of "Namewee".

Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Johari Baharum said yesterday that police would study the six-minute video clip on YouTube.

"We will have to look at it first to determine whether he flouted the law. If he has, we will act against him under the Sedition Act."

Namewee is said to be from Muar, Johor, and is studying at the Ming Chuan University.

Harian Metro reported the antics of the 24-year-old yesterday, saying that Namewee had sung the national anthem in rap style in a mixture of Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

It said the video clip had been viewed by more than 400,000 people since the middle of last month.

He was reported to have touched on racially-sensitive issues by sarcastically singing the morning call to prayer for Muslims.

He was said to have given the impression that the police force was corrupt and civil servants were slow in serving the people.

The video clip showed Namewee singing in a room with a Malaysian flag as the backdrop.

The words "Jangan sue saya, saya takde duit (Don’t sue me, I don’t have money)" were featured at the end of the video clip.

Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said Namewee had insulted the national anthem.

"There are so many other ways to be creative. If he had used another song instead of Negaraku, nobody would be criticising him."

Liow, also the MCA Youth chief, said although the lyrics were not particularly offensive, the singer should not have used the national anthem.

"He’s actually trying to reflect on what he feels about the situation in the country. As a young person, he has his ideals, but he should protect the country’s honour and defend symbols like the national anthem."

Liow said he read in the Chinese press that Namewee loved Malaysia and carried the flag wherever he went.

"He seems patriotic, but needs guidance to show his patriotism in the proper way," he said.

Meanwhile, Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission chairman Datuk Dr Halim Shafie said his officers would investigate the matter.--- KatoeyNewsNetwork

Woman fed up with kinky husband

KEMAMAN : A 45-year-old woman, claiming her husband has developed an appetite for “kinky sex”, has lodged a police report in which she alleged that he had sodomised and abused her.

She alleged her husband's perverted behaviour started after he watched some pornographic movies.

In her report at the Cukai police station here yesterday, the housewife said he first sodomised her at a hotel in Cukai at about midnight on July 8.

He had persuaded her to follow him there after promising her a romantic night.

He had since sodomised and sexually abused her again on two other occasions, once at their home and then at another hotel.

The couple had married several years ago after separating from their earlier spouses.

Kemaman OCPD, Supt Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid said the police expect to detain the man soon.

Namewee: I did not mean to insult Malays

KUALA LUMPUR : The Negaraku rap video was meant to be a satirical social commentary on life in Malaysia as a Chinese and it was never meant to be an insult to Islam or the Malays.

This was what Wee Meng Chee, who was featured in the video using the pseudonym "Namewee", said in a telephone interview from Taiwan yesterday.

The mass communications undergraduate studying at the Ming Chuan University in Taipeh is under fire in Malaysia for posting a six-minute video of himself singing the national anthem interspersed with rap on Youtube.

"I was just rapping about things Malaysians talk about all the time," he said.

In the video, the 24-year-old Wee associated the 5am Azan call with a morning call and said the person praying sang out of tune sometimes which made it sound like a rooster’s crow.

Wee admitted it was most probably those verses of his song that people were offended with but urged the public to interpret his lyrics in context.

"Please understand that I was merely describing my experiences in my hometown," said Wee, who is from Muar. "I have always respected the sanctity of every religion. It is not something I would mess with."

Wee said that the rap video was meant to be a satirical take on life as a Malaysian Chinese for the benefit of the Chinese community in Taiwan and China.

"That’s why I rapped in Mandarin, it was just my attempt at humour aimed solely for the pleasure of the Chinese community," he said.

Wee denied accusations that he had changed and distorted the lyrics or melody of the national anthem.

On the demand for a public apology before Aug 31 by Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, Wee said he was prepared to apologise if his video was found to be offensive to the Malay community.

"Personally, I don’t think I have done anything wrong, but I will apologise if there is a reason to," Wee said.

Wee said he loved Malaysia and planned to return home next year.

Wee’s father, who declined to be named, has expressed support for his son.

"My whole family stands by him. We think the video issue has been blown out of proportion," he said.

"I urge the public to be more open-minded about my son’s video."

Social escort services in Malaysia

Kosmo! reported that tourists, particularly those from Europe and the United States, were the main patrons of social escort services in Malaysia.

Although the agencies offering the escort service were local, most of the women working there were foreigners.

Quoting a man who wanted to be known only as Razak, the newspaper said local women did not want to work for an agency because they preferred to work on their own, as they made more money that way.

The agency charged RM350 for six hours for the service of a Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian or Filipino girl and RM1,400 for the whole day.

For a local social escort – be it a Chinese, Malay or Indian – the rate was RM1,350 for six hours and RM5,000 for a day.

Uzbek call girls and pimps picked up at Penang hotel

PENANG : 6 high-class Uzbek call girls and two pimps were rounded up during an anti-vice operation at a hotel in Kinta Lane here on Sunday.

State CID chief Senior Asst Comm (II) Abdul Samah Mat said two men, believed to be clients, were also arrested during the 8pm Ops Noda.

“We have been monitoring the Uzbek women for some time after receiving information that they were charging RM300 for each session.

“Bookings are made through the pimps’ handphone. Customers could opt to come to the hotel or the women would be brought to the premises of their choice.

“Our investigations showed that the women, in their 20s, entered the country as tourists a few weeks ago. They were in Kuala Lumpur before coming here,” he said yesterday.

SAC Abdul Samah said police were going all out to rid the state of vice activities by conducting raids on karaoke lounges and health centres which were sometimes fronts for prostitution.

On Thursday, eight Chinese nationals and a Vietnamese woman, who entered the country as tourists, were rounded up at a pub-cum-brothel in Anson Road.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Azam Abd Hamid had recently warned vice operators to cease their operations or face action under the Restricted Residence Enactment.

Cops not buying ‘China Doll’ ruse

GEORGE TOWN : Some men have grown so attached to the "China Dolls" they meet in entertainment outlets that they cook up all sorts of excuses for these women during police raids.

Among the more common excuses offered were that the women were their wives, close relatives or girlfriends out for a bit of fun at night.

The police, however, are having none of it and want those making such claims to provide proof.

Northeast district police chief ACP Azam Abd Hamid said those who contend that the women found with them were their wives must provide proof.

"Only when we can authenticate the marriage or their claims will these women be released."

Azam said police were faced with such cases when they raided six entertainment outlets here over the past two days under operation Ops Noda.

He said police detained 70 guest relations officers (GROs) from China during the anti-vice raids.

The women, aged between 21 and 29, were detained for violating their social visit passes.

"We have also recorded the statements of the outlets’ managers to assist in our investigations," he said.

A total of 779 women from China, Thailand and Indonesia have been detained over the past seven months as police try to stamp out vice activities in the state.

Teens in Sabah smoking and having sex at early age

KOTA KINABALU : Teenagers in Sabah are taking up smoking at alarmingly high rate and some are having sex as early as the age of 10.

A research by health officials among suburban teenagers in Telipok near here found that 30.3 % admitted to being regular smokers, which is double the national average of 16% and above the global average of 20%.

“Nearly, a third of the teenaged respondents admitted to be smokers. It seems to be a common trend among Sabah teenagers.

“Even more worrying is that the number of young girls taking up smoking has doubled from 4% to 8% in the last 10 years,” Sabah Health Department deputy director Dr Mohd Yusof Ibrahim said at the launching of the Telipok Teen health Clinic here.

The recent research was conducted by the Telipok Health Clinic to gauge the problem of smoking as well as the sexual habits of teenagers, which is to be used as yardstick by the department for its various public health campaigns.

The study also noted that 1.8% of the teenagers admitted to having premarital sex with a few disclosing that they had done so at the age of 10.

“Premarital sex among teenagers, however, seems considerably lower,” he said, in explaining that it could be due to many respondents’ reluctance to answer direct questions on the matter.

Dr Yusof, however, said based on indirect questions like if they (teenagers) were aware of their friends being smokers or had sex showed a higher average with 66.4% saying they had at least one friend who was a smoker and 16.9% having knowledge of one their friends having sex.

Dr Yusof did not mention the number of teenagers interviewed during the research.

He said the Health Ministry found that 40% of the HIV patients in the country were below the age of 29 and in Sabah, 80% of the HIV infected teenagers had contracted it through unhealthy sexual practices. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork

Hundreds seek services of prostitutes at KL ‘sex alley’

FOREIGNERS continue to swarm the alley behind Jalan Petaling in Kuala Lumpur seeking the services of prostitutes.

Harian Metro reported yesterday that it was a normal occurrence for hundreds of foreigners to gather in the alley like they were having a “sex party” there.

It said that the 200m-stretch of prostitute dens, believed to be the oldest in Kuala Lumpur, was filled with Myanmars, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Indonesians and Nepalese.

In a three-hour check by the tabloid, it found that charges were as low as RM40, which caused some foreigners to be willing to queue in long lines for their turn.

They were seen crowding the area from as early as 8am.

The area became busier at 11am, when they entered the dens in groups.

The tabloid said that while the customers were made up of foreigners, the prostitutes were locals.

It added that customers came from as far as Hulu Selangor, Malacca, Perak and Seremban for “entertainment,” and to meet up with friends from the same country.

Kanchong Darat : Little Haadyai at rambutan orchard

BANTING : The operators named it the Peaceful Haven but this orchard offered more than fruits. Women and liquor were also on the menu of this rambutan plantation.

Located in a secluded area, surrounded by an oil palm estate and a pig farm in Kanchong Darat about 10km from here, this vice den with more than 20 Chinese national women had been operating for the past two months.

When police raided the place on Tuesday night, they detained 30 clients. Most of them were either businessmen or sales personnel, driving luxury cars.

Twelve wooden huts had been constructed for the women to entertain clients. The signboard leading to the huts read Shi Wai Tao Yuan, which means Peaceful Haven.

Kuala Langat OCPD Supt Zulkifli Mohamed said police arrested six China nationals and a 30-year-old local man.

He said the women, in their 20s and 30s, were believed to be “more than waitresses.”

“The man could be the organiser of the illegal activities,” he told reporters here yesterday.

Supt Zulkifli said the vice den activities became known when police received complaints from villagers that many cars were going in and out of the plantation.

“We were told that it was a happening place just like a little Haadyai,” he said, adding that the huts had karaoke sets and coloured lights.

Police believed that a house near the huts was used as a kitchen to prepare food and drinks for the clients.

When police ambushed the place at 8.30pm, many of the women escaped into the nearby plantation, said Supt Zulkifli.

“We managed to arrest six women who ran towards the house,” he said, adding that the male suspect was found in the house.

Police confiscated RM3,500 and 3,300 yuan (about RM1,500), four mobile phones and a pair of handcuffs from the male suspect.

All the seven suspects are under remand for further investigation, he said, adding that police was also tracing the farm owner.

Supt Zulkifli also said all the women, who came here as tourists, were held for working without permits.

The man was being investigated for employing the girls without permits and operating an illegal entertainment outlet, he added.

A total of 30 customers, including a 47-year-old Singaporean, were detained but were released after their statements were recorded.

Massage for bigger manhood ‘dangerous’

KOTA BARU : Fisherman Wan Mat (not his real name) is worried stiff.

The 54-year-old from Bachok, who recently underwent a traditional massage for penile enlargement, is finding out that one should not believe all that is advertised on the matter.

"The masseur told me that by enlarging my penis, I could rejuvenate my sex life. But the thing is, nothing has changed since then. I don’t even feel a tingle.

"I am worried that I might not be able to perform in bed any more," he said.

The father of four said he had thought that the treatment would help the erectile dysfunction he had been suffering for two months.

"I have been avoiding sex with my wife. I thought that by enlarging my penis I could solve my woes," he said.

Wan Mat is among many in Kelantan who seek the help of traditional masseurs to improve their sexual health instead of going to doctors.

They are wooed by advertisements placed on trees lining roads that promise to increase the girth and length of the penis for conjugal bliss.

Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital Family Health Clinic specialist, Professor Dr Shaiful Bahari Ismail said massage of the penis and testicles might prove dangerous for people suffering from erectile dysfuncton.

He said the only proven method of treating the problem was through modern methods, including medicines, surgery and vacuum pumps.

"There is a perception that massage can help improve sexual performance. However, it is believed to be either dangerous, ineffective, or both.

"Although there is no scientific research on the effect of massage of the private parts, massaging techniques carried out directly on the penis and testicles may damage blood vessels, the nerve system and even the skin," he said.

Dr Shaiful said many had visited his clinic complaining of ineffective traditional treatment of the problem.

He said most suffering from the problem were above 50 and usually diabetic, suffering from heart disease or high blood pressure.

"They only seek modern treatment after noticing that the traditional treatment, which they underwent to cure impotency, was ineffective. After diagnosing their problem, we treat them with medicines," he said.

Traditional masseur Mohd Zafri Harun, 35, who has been in the business for 15 years, claimed a success rate of 70 per cent.

He even claimed that vacuum pumps were hazardous "as they could cause cancer".

"So far, most of my clients are satisfied with my service. They are happy with the size achieved after treatment," he said, adding that he had learned the techniques from his father. And it doesn’t come cheap either.

Zafri said a "standard package" was priced at between RM200 and RM300.

Women want action against China mistresses

SICK and tired of their husbands having affairs with foreign women, a group of wives are asking the authorities to tackle the problem.

China Press reported that the group wanted the authorities to act against foreign women who misused their social visit passes.

MCA Public Services and Complaints Bureau chief Datuk Michael Chong said this year alone, the bureau received 35 complaints of men leaving their wives for foreign women.

The most recent case is of a restaurant owner who left his wife and two children for his girlfriend from China.

The man’s wife, identified as Xie, 29, from Selangor, said her husband would go to China for at least two months to be with his girlfriend.

“When I cornered him, he beat me up instead,” the seamstress claimed.

Sin Chew Daily quoted Chong as saying that such wives were willing to give information on the foreign women for the authorities to arrest them.

“I hope the husbands of these women realise their mistake. I have seen how mistresses mistreat the wives after snatching the men away,” he said.

ONE-NIGHT stands may be just flings for some working women but “doing it for fun” has left many of them infected with HIV, reported Berita Minggu.

Lately, however, the disease has hit more and more professional women, including doctors, accountants, lawyers and teachers.

Dr Ismail said that many of them thought one-night stands would not cause any problem.

According to statistics provided by the ministry’s Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS Unit, the number of women infected with HIV had increased by about 250% since 1996.

Last year saw 976 deaths from AIDS, of which 80 were women.

A victim in her 30s, who called herself Ani, claimed she was pestered by a man when she attended a course.

Inexplicably, she found herself attracted to him and gave him money whenever they met. When her husband found out, he quickly sought the help of a bomoh who told them that she had been affected by black magic used by the Casanova.

Age no barrier for chef

A 68-YEAR-OLD woman searching for a life partner received overwhelming response when more than 100 people turned up at her doorstep in Singapore.

The twice-divorced woman had made public her intention in the newspapers and many of those who responded were men in their 60s or 70s.

Younger men also showed interest and the youngest suitor was a 25-year-old chef from Muar, Johor, reported Sin Chew Daily.

Huang Zhi Kuang, who earned a monthly salary of about S$2,000 (RM4,600) in Singapore, said he did not mind having a relationship with the woman, adding that age was not a barrier.

“I don’t smoke or drink, or indulge in unhealthy activities. The most important thing is, I am not targeting her money,” Huang told the daily.

“I am serious and hope to build a relationship with the woman because I believe for her age she possesses maturity and would be serious in our relationship.”

He also quashed speculation that the move was just a stepping-stone for him to secure permanent resident status in the republic.

Huang added that if everything went smoothly in their relationship, he would propose to the woman within six months.

“Once our relationship is stable, I will bring her to meet my family members in Malaysia.”

However, when contacted by the daily, the woman immediately rejected Huang, saying he was too young for her.

“I am flattered but he is definitely not my choice. I can accept a man five years younger but Huang is just a lad.

“My ideal partner must have a stable income which is enough to support both of us,” she said.

Report from The STAR dated Tuesday 23 October 2007 :-

Genting founder dies

PETALING JAYA : Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, founder and honorary life president of Genting Group, passed away at 11.20am Tuesday at the Subang Jaya Medical Centre.

The tycoon, who turned 90 in April this year, was renowned for his vision in transforming Genting Highlands from an unexplored hilltop to one of the world's most successful casino resorts.

The fifth child in a family of seven children, Lim migrated from China's Fujian province in 1937 at the age of 19 with only a small suitcase and US$175.

The idea of a hill resort was chanced upon by Lim amidst the crisp air of Cameron Highlands in 1964. Lim was then working on a hydro-electric power project at the popular hill resort, patronised mostly by British colonials seeking cool refuge from the tropical heat, when he foresaw a prosperous Malaysia of the future desiring a cool mountain holiday resort within the reach of all Malaysians.

To date, Genting Highlands Resort has five hotels and two apartment blocks at the hilltop and Awana Genting Highlands Golf and Country Resort.

The company, founded in 1965, has since expanded and diversified from its initial hotel and resort activities to plantations, properties, paper manufacturing, power generation, oil and gas, electronic commerce and information technology development under Genting Group.

According to Forbes Asia, the Genting Group founder was third richest in the country with a net worth of US$4.3bil (RM14.6bil).

Lim is survived by wife Puan Sri Lee Kim Hua, and their six children and 19 grandchildren.

Since late morning quite free, went down to Danga Bay to survey. Looks like jetty services to Indonesia not in operation yet. So much for the "welcoming" news fm The Star.

Afternoon headed down to Meldrum walk. Not much happening since not night fall yet. Went to the hotel ( cant remember the name..end of Meldrum walk, behind Merlin Tower) at 2nd floor MP. Took a Thai masseuse that cost me M$70/1hr for BM. No FJ but got HJ. Additional M$50. Never ask for BJ but I think high chances she may agree.

Report from The STAR dated Saturday 31 May 2008 :-

Johor schoolgirl molested and forced to pose topless

THREE male students molested their female classmate and forced her to pose topless for them, reported China Press.

Using a handphone camera, they then took photographs of her before circulating the pictures to other handphone users around Segamat, Johor.

The 17-year-old girl is seen covering her face in the picture.

The daily also reported that the boys, also 17, took turns to touch the girl’s breasts and private parts at a storeroom in the school.

The incident, which took place during the school’s sport day in February, was only uncovered on May 26, when the girl saw the picture in her fiancée’s handphone.

She then lodged a police report on the day. Police nabbed three suspects at 3am the next day to facilitate investigation.

Report from The New Straits Times dated Saturday 31 May 2008 :-

'Singaporeans come for more than just fuel'

JOHOR BARU : A proposed ban on the sale of subsidised fuel to Singapore-registered vehicles may have an effect on petrol stations operating near the Causeway, but operators are not worried.

Ban or no ban, they think Singaporeans will still come to Johor Baru for everything, from food to entertainment.

Lenny Tan, a petrol station operator said that even without the subsidy, petrol in Malaysia was still cheaper than in Singapore.

"It is only fair that they pay for things purchased without a subsidy. In Singapore, they follow everything by the book and we abide by their rules.

We do not enjoy any privileges there, so it's only fair that they don't in our country," Tan, 43, said.

Since the ban was reported in the republic's newspapers, Tan said she did not see a rush among foreign-registered vehicles to fill up.

Another operator who declined to be named, however, is worried that she will have to cease operation if the ban takes effect.

The woman, who is in her 30s, said almost 90 per cent of her clients were Singaporeans.

"My station is the last stop before the Causeway. All vehicles entering Singapore that need to refill will stop here for the last fill-up.

"Sometimes when there are massive jams, they will park their vehicles and purchase snacks at our store."

She was against the ban, but thought it would not take effect immediately.

The woman also said that her station had not seen a sudden hike in sales, even after the ban was made public in Singapore media.

However, she said that she would be taking extra precaution by getting all her staff to work over the weekend, as the ban is expected to take effect this Sunday.

A third operator said with petrol becoming car owners' most sought-after commodity, "ban or no ban, subsidised or not, car owners need petrol".

"Of course, when you pay more, you will complain, but then you will just accept it because you need it, unless there is another alternative."

He noticed that there was a slight increase in the number of Singapore-registered vehicles pumping fuel between 12am and 3am on Tuesday night.

A Singaporean biker, Ramzly Hossin, 26, believed many Singaporeans would complain about the ban and many Johoreans, especially those who rely on Singaporeans for income, would make a fuss.

"But it is not just the petrol that draws the Singaporeans to Johor Baru, it is the food.

"It tastes better, it smells better and it looks better. Many of us brave the jams at the Causeway because we need to de-stress.

"Living in Singapore is not easy. You need to work very hard, but we need to play hard, and Johor Baru is our playground," he said. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork

Report from The STAR dated Tuesday 3 June 2008 :-

Two-tier fuel pricing system bad, says Johor DAP

JOHOR BARU : A two-tier fuel pricing system for foreign registered vehicles will adversely affect the economy of the city.

Johor DAP chairman Dr Boo Cheng Hau said such a move would inconvenience both foreigners and local businesses dependent on the Singaporean clientele.

“A Singapore ruling that requires its vehicles to have a three-quarter full tank before entering the country already reduces the number of foreigners who enter the city solely for petrol,” he said.

According to Dr Boo, besides increasing red tape, a two-tier system would also affect Malaysians holding Singapore permanent residency status who owned Singapored-registered vehicles.

“There should be uniform pricing,” he said during a press conference after visiting several traders in the city.

Johor DAP vice-chairman Norman Fernandez urged the Government to weigh the cost of restricting Singaporeans to unsubsidised petrol against the economic losses suffered by traders.

“We have to look at the big picture as the situation in Johor Baru is unique. Many businesses are very reliant on the Singaporean clientele.”

Meanwhile, Senai assemblyman Ong Kow Meng said that a two-tier pricing system would breach international free trade agreements.

“We will also be the laughing stock internationally if we implement the two-tier pricing system,” he said, adding that Petronas should instead pay for the subsidised fuel.

Report from The STAR dated Wednesday 4 June 2008 :-

Singaporeans: We spend more on other things in JB

JOHOR BARU : Singaporeans are said to spend six times more on food, entertainment and shopping compared with what they pay for petrol.

A Singaporean who only wanted to be known as Tang, said although he would frequent the petrol station for cheaper petrol, he also comes in for shopping and entertainment that cost about RM200 to RM300 per trip.

“I come here every weekend to buy groceries as they are cheaper here,” said the 32-year-old salesman.

Tang said although he gets to fill in about RM50-RM80 of petrol each time before he returns to Singapore, he spent much more than that for other activities that benefited the businesses here.

Desmond Foo, 47, leaves the island republic for Johor Baru and Kulai, about four times weekly for work and leisure.

“On weekdays, I come in for work but I also take my family here for food and entertainment during weekends,” said the father of three.

He explained that he spent at least RM250 per trip depending on the length of stay and his expenditure would be much more if hotel lodging was required.

Foo said the petrol ban would certainly cause a lot of inconvenience to him, as he had to visit his factory in Kulai regularly.

“I come in for work about three times a week and Kulai is one of the areas where petrol sale is banned for foreign registered cars,” he said.

He added that while the Malaysian Government had the right to prohibit Singaporeans from enjoying the subsidised petrol, it would be good if foreigners were allowed to fill in petrol at market prices.

Foo said it was not the question of getting the cheaper petrol but a matter of convenience.

Hashim Sani from Bedok, Singapore said he had been driving into Johor Baru almost every week for the past seven years.

“I come here with my family and we will shop for groceries here,” said the 39-year-old technician adding that he also had his hair cut and car washed here, as it was cheaper.

The three are examples of the tens of millions who enter Malaysia from Singapore on a frequent basis.

Last year alone, about 22 million Singaporeans entered the country via the Second Link and the Causeway.

I would like to add a few points regarding Singaporeans who come to JB for fcuking sessions:

First of all, the exchange rate was always in favour for Singaporeans which shows a very good sign of increment most of the time. Getting twice as much value of purchasing power, and in addition to the flourishing of private massage areas at Taman Daya and Taman Ungku Aminah, as cheap as RM110 (less than S$50 for 45 minutes massage + full job) is certainly a price you can't get anywhere besides Batam. Even a crappy massage by PRC in GL Singapore alone can cost S$28 - S$38 (more than RM85.00 based on current exchage rates).

The price of Spa girls for fj is actually very cheap for most Singaporeans but very pricey for Malaysians earning Malaysian Ringgit. I have read alot of posts on SYTs working at Lion Spa, BlueWave, and The Zon; but I find it rather pricey for me, for the fact that I'm just a blue-collar worker in JB. Although I may be tempted to try, I would still have to release my bullets on a cheaper bargain. However, I am surprised to find out from the OKT that the majority of their clients for budget bonks and good service quality are in fact Singaporeans.

On another issue, the cost of living and food in JB is higher than KL, which is a burden for people like me. Still, I dislike to cross the causeway to work, as after the CBA (Cost-Benefit-Analysis) I have conducted, I will end up losing more money during the mid to late-ages of my life. (Medical costs to cover me for the smoke and smog I have inhaled during the journey at the causeway).

As a conclusion, I will definitely try the abalones in Singapore if one day the exchange rate ever bounces back to a more affordable value.
e.g. RM1 = S$0.55:)

Report from The STAR dated Wednesday 4 June 2008 :-

Petrol to cost RM2.70 from midnight today ( 4.6.08 )

KUALA LUMPUR : Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Wednesday announced price hikes for petrol, diesel and electricity.

He said the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight. The price goes up by 78sen from the current RM1.92, a hike of 40%.

Abdullah also announced that the price of diesel would be increased by RM1 from RM1.58 to RM2.58.

He also said that Tenaga Nasional Bhd would be raising electricity rates by 18% for homes and 26% for business users.

The announcements are part of the new fuel subsidy plan.

Abdullah also announced a RM625 annual cash rebate per vehicle, for owners of private vehicles with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc, as well as pickup trucks and jeeps with engine capacities of up to 2,500cc.

Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities of up to 250cc will receive RM150.

RM2.70? still too cheap lar....still not expensive enough to prevent Singaporeans to clog the causeway just to pump petrol.....and perform free show on how to SHAKE their cars!

IntelDuoCore

I 100% agree with tongkat ali. The price of fuel is still too cheap. Singaporeans really love to demo free show on shaking their cars. Pricing should be raised to RM4.70 per liter, then rebate every year during renewal of road tax. That means if the road tax is RM500, the rebate should be twice as much e.g. RM1000. This is a fair approach, subsidies being enjoyed by rightful Malaysian citizens.

Taking assumption of Jenny's Merc S500L, road tax RM11,800 a year, every year should get rebate of RM23,600.

It alsomeans that when renewing the road tax, you are actually paid for doing so! Isn't that great? This also encourages people to renew their road-tax before expiry. Suitable for the small ethnic group where they drive their vehicles mostly without road tax and insurance. Perfect plan...

Report from The STAR dated Friday 13 June 2008 :-

JB woman loses RM50,000 in savings to foreign lover

JOHOR BARU : In the name of love, a 35-year-old woman did whatever her man wanted.

She spent all her savings totalling RM50,000 and borrowed more money from friends to buy expensive furniture for their “love nest.”

For one and a half years, she obeyed her fiancé’s “extraordinary” sexual demands although she considered such acts abusive.

The man – a foreigner – promised to marry her but his wife suddenly turned up in Malaysia in September last year. She also found out that he had two children.

The woman, who only wanted to be known as Fiona, was a waitress in a karaoke lounge but resigned shortly after she met him in August 2006 at the lounge.

“He promised to marry me and take care of me but he was just lying,” she said, adding that although the wife stayed in his official residence he carried on living with her until their break-up recently.

Fiona said that after his wife arrived, she and her lover – an engineer in Pasir Gudang – had several arguments, adding that he had assaulted her as well.

She has lodged three police reports since September.

Indonesian woman made sex slave

AN Indonesian woman claimed that she had been made a sex slave by a man who posed as an employment agent.

Harian Metro reported that the 22-year old woman was confined in the house of a 53-year-old bachelor for the past month.

He had promised to get her a job.

Instead of securing her a job, he allegedly molested her several times and raped her in the house in Desa Permai in Tampin, Negri Sembilan.

The man is said to have gone to Indonesia to recruit her for a purported job with a good salary, according to the newspaper.

The woman was rescued by police who raided the house after receiving information from the victim's friend while the man was out working in a restaurant.

The suspect is now under a five-day remand for further investigation.

The African attraction

METRO AHAD front-paged a report about African men said to possess “better qualities” which local women find very attractive.

Among the qualities appreciated by local Malay women who have dated the men were their smooth sweet talk, gentlemanly demeanour, open-mindedness and patience.

According to executive Jaja Karim, 28, who is engaged to an African man, these men were better than Malay men as they were more mature and professional as a result of their travels.

She said she was aware of the negative perception people had of African men in general but she was convinced that her fiance was a good person.

But in a separate report, the paper said that the presence of African men was a nightmare for Damansara Damai residents.

They are said to have little respect for the locals, disturbed the peace and harassed women, single or married.

According to Vista Damansara Damai Apartment Residents Association president Major (R) Zainudin Ismail, an African man once poked a married woman's behind.

“She screamed. The residents got angry and slapped the man involved,” he said.

The men would also shout 'I love you' to the local women, chase after them for telephone numbers, dance in groups and make noise at night. Some were even brazen enough to shake the safety grilles in front of women's apartment units when they knew their husbands were not around.

Zainudin said that the group had been coming to the area since 2004.

“Initially, there were only 40 of them but now there are more than 300 from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Zambia,” he added.--- KatoeyNewsNetwork

REMARKS

One of the reason why local women ( especially Malay gals) are 'attracted' to African is because all of them have DAMN BIG COCKS - at least 9" to 12" and they are damn good in fucking ..... in fact, many Africans are professional giggolos in Bangkok, servicing frustrated housewives/neglected mistresses of rich old men

Budget hotels in Malaysia secretly taping fucking couples

BUDGET hotel operators videotaped their customers having sex and then sell the “movie” to VCD and DVD operators for RM1,000 to RM3,000 each, according to Harian Metro.

The activities were uncovered by the daily’s reporter who posed as a member of a pirated VCD syndicate.

He met the hotel operator who showed him a specially decorated room for rent to couples.

The operator, identified as Jimmy, 30, told him that hidden cameras were fitted in the room facing the bed.

According to Jimmy, he would choose a suitable couple, mostly teenagers and college students, for his movie.

After recording their act, the copies were sold to the syndicates to be made into pornographic VCDs.

Jimmy also received RM5 as royalty for each copy of VCD sold.

The reporter found that the VCDs were sold at outlets in Petaling Jaya as Asia Bagus Vol. 1 to Vol. 27 on its cover.

An outlet owner, known as Peter, told the reporter that there were VCDs of couples making love taken from all over the country.

He said the ones in demand were those from Malacca as the women were beautiful.

Tai Kor,

Rather than ask for royalty from the DVD Bosses, why not ask for "free" gals from them ...... i.e. ask the DVD bosses to supply the gals to you for fucking so that they can film your porn actions ...... like that can fuck so many gals for free lah ! :D

23 foreign women held in raid

SEREMBAN : Immigration officers detained 23 foreign women who had no valid travel documents and believed to be involved in immoral activities at an entertainment outlet in Rahang.

The women – 12 from China, seven Indonesians, two Vietnamese and two Filipinos – all in their 20s and 30s carried false Sabah identity cards.

Immigration director of enforcement Datuk Ishak Mohamad told reporters that a Malaysian man, in his 50s, and two Malaysian women, in their 30s and 40s, who were believed to be the pimps were also detained.

He said the department would recommend to the Seremban Municipal Council to revoke the licence of the entertainment outlet.

In Bukit Mertajam, 17 foreign women, all believed to be working as guest relations officers (GROs), were arrested when police raided an entertainment outlet in Jalan Prai Jaya on Friday.

The women, aged between 20 and 30, were from China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia. They had social visit passes.

Police also detained 20 customers at the outlet and had their urine sample taken. All of them were released after they were tested negative for drug. The outlet caretaker was also detained for questioning.

In Ipoh, four women from China and Hong Kong, also believed to be working as GROs at an entertainment outlet, were detained on Friday.
