Notice the deafening sound of silence on the hill of the Battle of the Rats?
Cat- and dog-loving ministers have all gone silent - not even to say that this is a once-in-50 years happening?
VB talk big shit on integrity and cleaning of wet markets and not one good word from the doctor on the rats? No reaction to uninvited Istana guest Tan Cheng Bock's FB page on the dangers awaiting us and how he had warned about this much earlier?
Every mother and his dog ministry have been pointing the fingers at each other and some civil servant wrote in ST Forum page that since the rats are running wild on state land, there was nothing that the SLA, NEA or PAP TC could have done anything? Would he have said the same thing if this happened in Punggol?
And there is that no-handbag DISgraceF.U.
She should be explaining how this thing should be handled.
