Woman drops 3000 RMB in China, no one dares pick it up
Would you pick up a stack of cash lying in the street? After a woman dropped 3000 yuan ($464) at the busy Dalian Train Station in Liaoning Province recently, oddly more than 20 passers-by didn’t stop to pick it up. In China, there have been a number of fraud cases where fake money is left on the road, and a person waiting will jump out and demand jewelry or a cellphone to keep quiet if someone picks it up. Finally a man did pick up the money, and the police tracked him through surveillance footage before the money was returned to the woman.
