DBS banker heaps scorn on those who feel situation has worsened for the poor under PAP
Joshua Chin is currently working as a relationship manager at DBS Treasures whose clientele comprise individuals in and outside Singapore with an asset under management (AUM) of at least $350,000.
We are not surprised that he has that thinking given that he hobnobs with rich individuals on a daily basis.
His comments are reminiscent of a similar remark made by PAP Punggol East losing candidate Koh Poh Koon who once said:
"Well, everybody has a car, we have two — my wife drives one, I drive one. We are both professionals, we need to travel.”

Khairul Iqram: Giving this guy a title of banker is like giving a pump attendant the title of oil magnate.
Lauschke Amy: Big deal?! Relationship manager, whether handling Treasures' clients, corporate clients, retail clients, is still only an employee of a bank. If he cannot perform ie meet with the monthly quota on profitability, increase in asset portfolio etc, he is going to lose his job too. Then if he loses his job to a foreigner, see how would he respond to his own situation?
McPeekay Tomcat: This is Don't Bullshit Bank today. He's just a bank officer, NOT banker. Someday when he joins the unemployed or underemployed Pmets rank, his views will change. This day will come soon enough with the flood of foreigners onto our shore
