I recently went to chiong at Tanjung Pinang ( Bintan ).

I would like to inform fellow bros that the Goverment in TP has crack down on almost all the f shops in town only the local joint at Batu 24 which is in a village 30min drive away from town out in the middle of no where ( literally, surrounded by wilderness for 15 min drive in any direction ) the selection over there sucks only about 60 wls of that only about 15-25 wl can make it and only just, the rest have looks which only their mother can love.

The other F shops/ disco and casino's are all closed. Apparently some PAP voting goody 2 shoes who does not believe in pre marital sex, bloody niave brainless moron Singaporean ( I would like to call him/her many many other names but refrain ) Complain to the Indo authorities that people were taking drugs in the disco, and all this "vice" is not good for tourism. So the indo gov has closed down all the f shops in town to clean up the image of T.P . So as to attract more Spore tourist.

Hopefuly the Indon Gov will realize that they have made a humungous mistake when their visitor rate will drop ( i think at least 60% ) and bring back the best things in life. I agree with what bro GTOKING says, my friend had this experience that the so call "taxi" bring him merry go round during his 1st time there. They travelling time from jetty to the destiny was actually only 15 mins but he ended up being bring around for about 45mins! :D :D

I suppose those who cheong long enough at T Pinang would know the risk of getting a driver at the Jetty gate. Did try once by waiting for the Hotel van. The latter came 20mins late. You cant imagine how my friends and I were harrassed by those bloody drivers at the Jetty while waiting for the hotel van! :mad:

Me and 3 friends are planning a trip to TP this coming Sat (28th Jun), and would really like some recommendation from SBF cheongster.

Here are few things we had in mind, any recommendation/ advise please tell me! Dun want to walk around like a big fat carrot waiting to get chopped.

1. First and foremost importance, where to get the girls, cos i hardly can find updates on getting girls, everyone is talking bout Balai and Batam.

2. Good Massage / Spa place to relax.

3. Places to drink, Pubs, KTV would be really good.

4. Planning to stay at Bintan Panorama Hotel, any better recommendations?

Will post a FR of our mis-adventure when I get back from this trip.

Aiyah, not only TBK. Everywhere. Even Danok I understand prices also gone up. Prices will never come down as long teres limited supply of stock. Siti still tere and needless to say her tag price also move in tandem. Some of those "ang pai" one oso went into FLs leow. Couple with those whos still not back fm Lebaran mood. Tat account for the present acute shortage of stocks I suppose. Anyway no point tinking of those good old Balai days. Its history. :o

As for T Pinang, I understand prices of cewek doesnt swing like crazy....still within budget. Only problem one must engage a driver. Tats where it eats away our budget.

"Massage": Now is the show time!!! :D Such massage parlors are widely available in the city. You can notice such massage by two things:
1. the neon light in front of the place
2. the receptionist WILL give you list of massause pics to choose (you know what i mean)

The massage will cost you Rp 50,000 to Rp 70,000 per hour ($10!!!) and inside you do your own nego. For a FJ, it is Rp 150,000 ($20!!!!!)

Driver bring us to 5km to find cewek, less than 10 and all is in their 30s.

Later went to 24KM, 10++ cewek ,
Driver mention those joints inside town has closed, no choice already, even if we dont pick any girls, still have to paid driver fee for the 24km drive which is agreed beforehand..No choice ,, me and my 2 other friends just bring one cewek each for companion.

Guys, just got back from Tanjung Pinang today. Read EVERY post here, but still, I guess that I've been 'slashed'. The main reason:

No driver.

So I picked up one around the jetty, offered to drive me to 24KM, tough choice, as I don't like girls who smokes. Many are around 20s, some look like teenage girl with teenage body.

1 house is about 10+ girls, I picked up my girl just in 2nd house, as she's quiet, and a little bit shy type, which I liked. I was slashed RP600K. For me since it's the first time, well... never mind. She had been nice though, smells good and well, TIGHT.

Can't really believe it as she said she's 25 years old and has 2 kids, first one being 10yrs old which means she first gave birth when she was 15... damn!

I stayed at Panorama Hotel and I think it ain't bad cuz the view was nice, aircond is damn cold and the room is very clean. There's chinese receptionist girl working there to, so I saved my breath of trying to speak Bahasa Indo.

Should there be any of you planning to visit at the same timeline of mine, let me know as my next trip is aimed to be getting somewhere near the beach and get the girls maybe at Karaoke joints or something like that. Unless someone knows some 'mami' at 24KM or anywhere with a reasonable price for a 24hour companion, do let me know.

From Jetty to KM24, then to eat something, and then to Panorama Hotel, he asked for 50K, which I gave 70K.

There's the 'board' picture I took when they stopped me there, the driver got out and said he went to do some paperwork with the police so that the police won't disturb me.

The driver said it's like a 'guarantee' that nothing will happen, ie raids in the hotel, or the girl steal my stuff and runaway something like that.

Ok, here goes nothing. We arrived at jetty around 8pm. Greeted by the Panorama Hotel driver near the immigration exit. Safely exited the Jetty area and brought to the hotel shuttle and for seafood nearby. The cost is 800k for 7 people. No idea if that is the normal price or not but the food is ok. Later around 11pm, ask the Hotel security for cewek. He managed to call 2 FL for massages. The 3 of us already waiting in 1 room while the others already retired.

Two FLs came for my friends and by the look of it, for me, CMI. I excused myself and not even bothered to ask for a 3rd cewek for me. The next day, 1 friend reported that he only wants massage and paid 100k for an hour and 20k for the cewek ojek. The other friend brings the cewek to his room and after massage the cewek ask if he wants to “sotep”… After agreeing the price of 200K to stay till 4am but after the first shot, the cewek quickly packs her things saying some lame excuse to go out. My friend lazy to argue knowingly that she will never come back and let her be. End of Night 1 report. More story of KM24 and others on Day two.

Day two: After our breakfast around 8am, the 3 of us wants to check out the KM24 scene. The others who retired early yesterday want to check out malls and things to buy. The hotel shuttle did not cater travelling as far as KM24 (KM24 is really 24 kilometres out of the city) and they arrange another outside driver who always drives their customers to faraway places. The reason being that the hotel shuttle is only for travelling near the city and for a short time. The price is 120k for a trip and another 120k back if you take a long time browsing there. Manage to find out that KM16 is already shutdown and did not bother to check it out.

Upon arriving 10am++, all we see is a deserted kampong area. There is only one house with cewek upfront but they’re really old bird. The driver says that the cewek works all night then and there and rarely goes out for bookings (totally a different story than Balai). After, 20mins waiting on 2 different houses, waiting cewek to present themselves, we give up. The ones that managed to show up neither catches our eyes, nor the cewek themselves gives vibes wanting to be book.

After back to the hotel, the hotel counter quoted 240k for the trip. A trip with no success but we did get the story and look of KM24. After lunch, we ask for massages at 4pm and the hotel driver brings us out to this strictly traditional massage with the aromatherapy smell and music. We took the 400k per person package that contains body massage and scrubs for 90mins. While the massages are great, we still have not find a cewek and is already 7pm (plus minutes waiting the hotel driver to pick us up). Really out of luck!

Comes dinner 7pm, the hotel shuttle is out and the hotel counter books us another different driver to our eating place and karaoke sessions. He quoted 200k for the night and drop off to two locations, eating place and karaoke. Managed to haggle to 150k and divided among us. The driver pick us up at the karaoke spot at 11pm and after drop the others at the hotel, he offered me a cewek for the night. I think he spot the word ‘lonely’ tattooed on my forehead. I told him that I need a cewek who is smaller than me and young. I got quoted 600k for the night till 7am. I say fine, let me see the one he has in his mind and if I’m not interested, I’ll say no and sent her back.

He personally sent the cewek to my room and after getting my approval, I pass him the 600k and off he goes. The cewek reminds him to pay to the papi and to tell that she is with me for the night.

Latest Tanjong Pinang Update
Just made a short 2D1N trip to Tanjong Pinang, the capital of the Riau Achipelago after a break of several years then accompanying my relatives for a temple visit.
This round was for entertainment with several friends. Reached TP in the morning after 1hr45mins of travel on the Majestic Fast Ferry plying one of their older Wavemaster on the trip. The ferry terminal was jam-packed with PRC tourists who arrived earlier on the Sindo ferry. However, the migration clearance was rather fast clearing the crowd in less than half an hour. Approached the money changer at the ferry terminal and was quoted a poor rate of 0.99 mil IDR for S$100, which we quickly refused. The Pelangi Hotel counter was manned and advised us to change money in town later. Booked the ferry for the trip back home tomorrow and the Pelangi driver drove us to a shop opposite their sister Hotel Furia which offered us an attractive rate of 1.032 mil IDR for S$100. Thereafter, we were on the 7km journey to the hotel where the driver shown us several massage joints and also a booking joint at Batu 5, where 3 old substandard ceweks were offered. We refused and checked into our chalets at the hotel thereafter. Rooms were being prepared while we had lunch at the hotel restaurant reputed to serve decent good food. However, we were the only guests and the food, although of reasonable standard, was costly at more than 850k for the five paxs. In the afternoon, we visited the only mall in TP, the Tanjong Pinang City Centre Mall with a Matahari Hypermarket, completed about 4 years ago but still relatively underpopulated and quiet. We went down to the TP town and had coffee at an old coffee shop followed by a reasonably good dinner at the Rimba Jaya Food Court. The pace of life in TP is much slower as compared to Batam and the old town looks decaying and worn out. After dinner, we met a pimp opposite the Furia Hotel who promised to show us more joints. We went to a few massage place and again back to the Batu 5 joint which we refused to visit this time. Thereafter, the pimp and driver brought us to Batu 15 where he promised hundred of young nice ceweks. After a long drive, we reached Batu 15 deep inside a forested area where a kampong is resited. Outside each house, some decorated as KTVs, bars, etc..., you can find handful of ceweks sitting outside waiting for customers, mostly for ST. The offered material was not of good quality and prices ranging from 1.5j upwards for LT. We were not impressed and decided to leave Batu 15 to go back to a massage joint nearer town. We heard there is another cewek den near Batu 56. Back at the massage place, we each booked a one hour massage at 150k and some bros had their releases there for an additional 400 to 500k.
In conclusion, TP is not worth a visit unless you have a valid reason to visit the place for old time sake, do business, or visit it as an eye opener or other better reason.

Bro, TP is definitely not a god-forsaken place although out of favour these days due to ever alluring Batam and the highly popular Balai. It was 'The Place' some 20 to 30 years ago with the army-run camps with plentiful cheap young girls.

TP, is still an exciting place to explore these days if you are interested in the good old Singapore in the 50s or 60s. You still get good Chinese food at prices lower than Batam and fresh seafood at the market in town. Harumanis mangoes are selling at 15k to 20k IDR per kilo.

Do stay in town when visiting TP and the hotels are reasonably cheap and clean. Night and Day Laguna is a nice good hotel costing $35 or so. You can also get ceweks from the minders hanging around town or from drivers and hotel staff. Cheers.
