Legal or not I'm not sure but this is part of the Geylang scene...
At the neighborhood food courts there are these Thai women, many middle aged, who sit with old men, seemingly just hanging out. Most of them are hookers for sure, because I have observed a few going into hourly hotels with customers. But those were plucked when they got up to walk around. I have never seen girls pulled from the foodcourt table they sit at.
Anyone knows how to approach those women? Do I walk up to the table and make conversation? Do I find a table to sit down (hardly ever any open table at night time)? I'm a bit at loss with this way of playing...
