An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
A 16 year old girl from Guangxi, China was sold to traffickers by her boyfriend, 25, and then repeatedly raped while locked up in a cave.
China's He Fei Zai Xian reported that the 16 year old had dropped out of school to work in June this year after her father died of illness. She had never known her mother who disappeared while she was still a young child.
While working, the girl, named Xiaowei, had come to know 25 year old Liu who later became her boyfriend.
However, 2 months into their relationship, Liu sold her for RMB30,000 (about S$6k) to traffickers who then chained her up in a cave for 10 days.
Her buyer and several other men came and repeatedly raped her during this time.
Xiaowei was only able to escape when her captors brought her to a market and she sought the help of the public.
The China Press reports that the Police have now arrested 4 men in connection with the trafficking of Xiaowei and other young girls.
