An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Unless you have been living under a rock, you would have probably seen National Council's Problem Gambling advertisement that was constantly shown during the recent World Cup.
But there was a surprise twist at the end when it turned out to be an accurately predicted final, as Andy's father (the gambler) puts all his son's savings into Germany, the eventual winner.
The media around the world picked it up, and even though the World Cup season was over a few weeks ago, the jokes just keep on coming.
First it was Jimmy Fallon. Now, it's British comedian John Oliver.
In the latest episode of Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, the comedian talks about ungrateful Andy, before showing some parodies of the ad, this time with 'Andy' talking about his father betting on American football and even predicting that Ryan Gosling will impregnate Eva Mendes.
