An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Nobel prize laureate for Literature and a giant in her life time and most notably a member of the ANC in its fight for freedom passed away today. If you get a chance, read her books. Pick up the "The Conservationist", a Booker Prize winner.
She made this memorable quote: "You can't change a regime on the basis of compassion. There's got to be something harder."
J.M. Coetzee another South African of similar ilk also won the Booker Prize, not once but twice and is also the Nobel Prize for literature. Pick up his book "Life and Times of Micheal K"
