Recently, a job posting which said that only Pinoys with Degrees are allowed work in a Singapore FnB provoked many netizens interest. Click on attached.
The shocking fact was that the employer can only pay $1000 for that post.

Many Singaporeans have always blasted PAP for letting these foreigners cheapening themselves and depressing our quality of living and PAP has always been on the defensive and said that they are here to improve our real wages etc.

Some netizens have blamed Tharman and Gan Kim Yong for letting in these foreigners. Tharman was the Manpower Minister from 2002 to 2006 and Gan Kim Yong was the Manpower Minister from 2006 to 2011. Both Tharman and Gan Kim Yong have enjoyed popular support in Jurong, probably also because many new citizens are in Jurong to boost up their votes.

In another recent case, Australia politicians have voiced concern about the trade agreements that they will sign with PRC and in exchange, PRCs will flood Australia. Click on

We have known that these free trade agreements with Indian, Philippines and China have led to the untamed immigration. India, China and Philippines government are more than happy to export their unemployed citizens to come to Singapore to work and our PAP government are more than happy to accept them to boost GDP figures and for their Temasek linked companies such as Singpost and Singtel.

Goh Chok Tong, being the Prime Minister in the 1990s was the firestarter.

At the inaugural WTO World Trade Organisation, he fought for Singapore to be the venue of free trade and urged countries to lower their trade barriers so that Temasek Holdings can invest in their state assets. He also tried to get Celine Dion to sing for the visitors but Celine wasn't able to make it for the schedule.

Free trade agreements, such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), lead to massive increases in immigration. Under these policies, small businesses, independent farms, and craftspeople are pushed out of markets by multinational corporations and giant agribusinesses.

Finally, since many immigrants work in low-paying jobs with few benefits or protections, they are often more susceptible than other groups to job insecurity and trade-related job loss.

Which is why we are now seeing so many foreigners working in PMET jobs in Singapore.

Nicole Seah once challenged Goh Chok Tong in Marine Parade GRC and had a strong showing. Come GE2015/ 2016, Marine Parade GRC voters should be reminded that their quality of life has deteriorated was due to Goh Chok Tong's aggressive push for free trade.

I urge Marine Parade voters to take out Goh Chok Tong and Tin Pei Ling and Tan Chuan Jin (who is now the current Manpower Minister) and let Nicole Seah be the Manpower Minister.
