An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

MP Irene Ng, Tampines proudly announced that there are 100 trained traffic wardens to guard against irresponsible cycling in Tampines. Among them was a 17-year old student Aleric Chan, who said "it will be an interesting new experience having to keep a lookout for trouble."

Questions:

1) if the wardens are assaulted, who pays for their medical bills?
2) and if they are ignored, what's the recourse?
3) what is there to protect the homes and property of these wardens from the neighbours who are summoned?

As these 'wardens' are likely to be from the same constituency, they could become targets of those that they summon.

Wardens should be aware of their liabilities before they get too enthusiastic about their new assignments, and certainly should not be for the purpose of keeping a lookout for trouble!
