Hey guys,

although i'm in semi-retirement in this forum but i honestly admit that this forum have helped me grown alot during this few years. From tirak days to PRC gals days....haha.

happened to chance upon this today at popular bookstore

sure bring back fond memories, even though i had the e-version from here but i still bought it.

i m a big fan of this book. in fact this has led me to downlaod stephen leather's other free version. it didn't end there, i bought and rent another 6-7 title to read. decent author.

btw if u read my fatal attraction, u will know the writing style is model on Private Dancer although i m no where near his class lah.

yes he is a brit. i highly recommend his other books. not exactly in jeffrey archer's class but comparable to john grisham surely.

Stephen Leather is British and I think he is staying in Thailand now lah...
'Private Dancer' is really good.
A good source of real life tirak stories would be www.stickmanbangkok.com under Reader's Submission (although mostly about farangs and thais).

For those who are into ChannelNewsAsia's Prime Time Morning show, he was interviewed recently (probably within last 3 months). Quite an interesting guy who dabbled in several careers (including journalism) before finally setting himself down on writing his novels and short stories.

Private Dancer was featured here several years ago and I believe many of the older samsters may have copies of the full pdf version. Well, that didn't stop me from getting my copy of the actual book.

His book "The Private Dancer" is fantastic, those who have read it would definitely agree with me. Talks about his life in Phuket and fell in love with a bar girl and the lies and deceits on how that girl tried to get more money out of him.

I should have the e-book somewhere. Will post the link for u guys if u all are interested :)

All rite, having lotsa problems with SBF tonight, as SUPER slow and laggy. Will delete the megaload link and have loaded the file to another link

Thanks bro. recommend it to my friend but when they go download at his website only left with intro coz he had already published it. downloaded to sent to me friends. cheers and oh up u liao.

Thanks and enjoy the book. I remember i finish reading it in 2 days in the office. Just cant stop reading! :D
