Our dearest Merlion to undergo maintenance during Lunar New Year (please take note, I said Lunar New Year to dissociate ourselves from Chinese PRC who are bastard and culturally crude).
why choose to undergo maintenance during lunar new year? good or bad in fengshui?
Both Merlion statues at Merlion Park to undergo regular maintenance on Feb 13, 14 and 17
SINGAPORE — Both Merlion Statues at Merlion Park will undergo regular maintenance on Feb 13, 14 and 17, announced the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) today (Feb 11).
Maintenance work will not take place on the weekends on Feb 15 and 16.
While the STB says that photo-taking opportunities of the main Merlion statue will not be affected during the maintenance works, the water spout for the main statue will be switched off.
The Merlion cub will be barricaded during maintenance, and will not be available for photo-taking, added the STB.
