[During Sylvia Lim's MPS at one HDB void deck, a lady resident was very unhappy that MP could not help her get the job she lost reinstated.
According to witnesses, the lady seemed to have lost her job and was asking why Sylvia couldn't help her to get her job back. The lady was upset and shouted profanity.
Sylvia Lim requested the lady to wait until she cleared the other residents before getting back to her. The lady scolded Sylvia Lim for another good 30 minutes, interlaced with profanities. The lady was clearly agitated and even tried to flip over the wooden table Sylvia was sitting by, but Sylvia managed to prevent it.
According to witness account, Sylvia asked her volunteer to report to police, and the police came and arrested the resident.
