SINGAPORE - A man left a 500m trail of blood from his flat all the way to a bus stop nearby on Jan 19, after suffering a 2cm wound on his leg following an argument with his girlfriend.
According to a report on Lianhe Wanbao, the incident took place in the morning on the fifth storey of Block 82 at Commonwealth Close.
Witnesses heard a couple quarrelling and smashing things including a television which a neighbour saw had been thrown on to the floor.
The man, a 28-year-old Indian, suffered a 2cm gash on his right leg after stepping on broken glass. He ran out of the house barefoot while still bleeding.
A resident said he saw the man taking the lift to the ground floor and asking for help at the opposite block only to run back in the direction of a bus stop.
Police were called in and found the man at the bus stop. He was then sent to Alexandra Hospital for treatment while still conscious.
Investigations are ongoing and no one has been arrested yet.
Neighbours said the couple quarrelled frequently causing police to be called in more than 10 times over the past few years.
